Our server was excellent. He wad helpful and responsive. All of Sam's restaurants are noisy. He likes that way. It turns tables. Good for business. My quesadilla was slightly burned. I should requested another but I was hungry. The happy Hour wine was nice especially for the price. I like Blanco, just wasn't the best Blanco experience.
The ambiance is great whether sitting on the patios with views of ghe city below or inside. Our rable wasnt ready when the four of us arrived because “ we have had dawdlers who have been here for mire than 2 hours) yet there were other tables available. So we were seated after about 15 min our was disorganized. She took one drink order and left without asking the rest of us what we wanted . The marguerites were delicious. I had ordered the shrimp tacos but requested they be prepared just like the mahi. Mahi tacos came out instead. When the shrimp replacement came out they were cold. Then when the bill arrived we were charged fir 2 fish tacos and a shrimp taco that had to be removed from the bill.
Dinner was horrible!! I ordered the chicken fajitas & what I received was a dry chicken breast on top of large chunks of bell peppers & onion. The chicken was not marinated in any seasonings, it was top with a spooned hot sauce! Yuck !! Our waitress took are order & never came by to check on us or refill out drinks . I used to love coming here .... Know more !
All went well until the bill came and we were charged $13 each for two small (and lots of ice) house margaritas. We actually said outloud that next time we will drink somewhere else before or after. If the margarita has been Cadillac or premium, or bigger maybe that would be ok...Otherwise, our waitress was fantastic and the food was good. We just thought the restaurant was making up for the slow month of September with our mini margaritas.
What a great experience. The service was outstanding. Above and beyond!!!!! We had a mixup mistake on our part. The manager personally came by to help us. This was iut fault. Not theirs. He so super nice and did way more then he needed to. We have always enjoyed the food here. The service is what will keep us coming back. Thanks again
Ordered a short rib cheese crisp, which was excellent. My server was very attentative from the deliverance of chips and salsa to the very end of boxing up my remaining cheese crisp to take home. Will definitely return!!
Third time at Blanco. I was impressed with the first and second time. $25 Summer Special, Pitcher of Classic Margarita, and generous Nachos ?? But, this 3rd visit was not 5 stars ? I had to ask for someone to take our order... Short Rib machaca, VERY SALTY ?? Server was not attentive. I brought my friends to Blanco because of my 1st & 2nd impression... My friends were "ok" with Blanco ?
Whenever we are visiting Tucson we love eating at Blanco. The food is delicious with plenty of options and the view from the deck it phenomenal. This past visit service was a little chaotic and we had to ask for items too often but that isn't the norm. Either way, we still love this restaurant and will continue to eat there when in town.
Six of us went for a happy hour. Our server was very friendly and checked back with us several times. Our food was very good. Restaurant does not have good acoustics so it is very loud in the restaurant.
Ate here for lunch and sat outside. Misters made it tolerable in July heat. Ordered the short rib chimichanga and it was so good! Huge portions too. I was really pleased with it. Service was great too.

Wow the short rib tacos were amazing. As were the pork chile verde enchiladas! Great service, clean modern hip artsy space. Nice to see a full dining room (lunch) even in mid June.
Pretty consistent. New items on the menu which I ordered. Very good. Service is great! Alcohol is pricey but good. Noisy atmosphere but most places are these days. Blanco's is one of my favorite restaurants in Tucson. I wish they would bring back the trio appetizer of guacamole, queso, bean dip. So good and very reasonably priced. Love the new chicken salad!
Our server, John, was outstanding! Always on the ready to make sure we were taken care of. The food was good. The chicken al pastor tacos did not have much chicken but was tasty. Everyone else enjoyed their food.
Wonderfully accommodating restaurant with impeccable service. We dined for our daughter's UA graduation graduation with a reservation for a party of 16 and very last minute learned of an unexpected guest, increasing our party to 17. Hosts were ultra accommodating increasing our size on such a busy day. Thank you!!
Food was delivered before our drinks, a glass set on the edge of the table next to us slid off the table and splashed water all over and then they attempted to clean it and left the wet towels sitting under our table. To top it off, we found an insect swimming in one of our drinks with no offer to make things right. Needless to say, we won't be dining here again!
