So everything on the menu is 15 dollars which sounds like alot but you get your moneys worth in food and service. It was cold today and my wife wanted menudo and my daughter wanted pozole Which they serve everyday along with 10 other soups they dont mess around its all very well made and they do not skimp on the ingredients we were served in clay dishes with real utensils, and thick paper napkins. Every detail was thought out. The service was fast too and it was clean. The two old ladies in the kitchen hopped to it and made everything quick and piping hot. Its outside but they have an awning and comfortable chairs. It doesn't look like much but it was fantastic!

Wonderful and unique place to eat! The photos are a little confusing because they show an indoor restaurant but when we arrived it was all outdoor seating with food being cooked out of a truck. It looks like the restaurant used to be in the building next door but it was taken over by an insurance company? I'm not sure. Everything on the menu is the same price, $15, and even though it's essentially a food truck they have table service, deliver your food on real plates, and bring out amazing chips and salsa. It's well lit at night and comfortable, love that it's open so late! We loved the chile relleno. If you order an agua frescas beware that it is served in a HUGE jar, enough for multiple people. Also, there's no alcohol on the menu.

Highly Recommend!!!!!!! It is home made Mexican cenaduria style food ,traditionally cooked at front yards neighbors homes in Mexico , we’re talking tacos dorados, sopes , enchiladas , tortas , etc …. All their food has that authentic Mexican flavor (real Mexican flavor) !!!!!!! Staff super friendly and great service!!!! So , if you’re craving that meal made by your mom or nana kind , this is definitely the place to satisfy your belly !!!

The dinner was good, but the price was very expensive compared to other places and dishes. Unfortunately the waitress couldn't give us a suggestion for ordering, she didn't know much about the dishes. The place is great, I wish it were cheaper.

My wife grew up in Sonora, and I grew up in Nogales, Arizona/Sonora. Naturally, we both grew up eating "authentic" Mexican food. Although there are great Mexican food restaurants in Tucson, with all respect, we had yet to find anything that was comparable to what we grew up eating...until we found this place. We actually ate there for the first time last night, and all I can say is they now have life-long clients! Not only is the food as close to "the real thing" that we have eaten here, but it was also really nostalgic. Also, the staff is great! They are incredibly friendly and attentive. My wife and I felt like we had known them a lifetime. Treat yourself to what we feel is probably the best and closest to "homemade" we have tasted here, and go visit La Cenaduria de la 12!!
