Just up the road from the Mission Garden, the very heart of Tucson. Perfect in every way. Thank you Wendy for this beautiful gift 💝
Wow. That burrito was a good I’m still sitting here trying to process what I just experienced. Carne Asada burrito crispy on all sides with a nice salad, rice and beans. Drip coffee is great and so is the fresh squeezed juice. Customer service was outstanding as well. Amazing vibes. Plan your day around coming here.

I met a friend here for lunch. The food tasted very good but my friend found a metal wire in his food and almost ate it. When I made the workers aware they didn't say much. We went to leave and someone came and apologized and offered him a mini cake for free on our way out the door. I think they should have asked him right away if he was ok and offered him at least a free meal for the mishap, but maybe that's just me.

Passing through Tucson and wanting something besides the typical Mexican fare, and the reviews for this place, convinced us to give it a try. We were very glad we did. I had the vegan pastor tacos; the wife chose the vegetarian mole chilaquiles and we were both blown away at the intense flavors (they're not kidding about the tacos being spicy) and obvious care taken in the preparation. Friendly staff and a funky vibe were the icing on the cake.

My wife and I found this place by accident on our way back to the airport, and we weren't let down by it. We sat out front and had a drink, first, but kept watching all the delicious looking food coming out, so decided to have a look ourselves. We both had a burrito, one pork and one shrimp. When it came out it had refried beans, rice, and salad. Inside, there were the salsas and sauces which you could help yourself to. We shared them and had half each of the burritos, and the pork one was gorgeous, better than the shrimp, but I think that's because my wife out a hot salsa over it disguising the flavours. Anyway, there was so much she couldn't eat all of hers, and I don't like to see good food go to waste, so finished hers, too. The man behind the counter was very helpful, and the girls running round with the food, they were on their toes, they had to be, it was so busy. Next time I'm in Tucson, I'm definitely going back there. I'd paid a lot more $$ for less of a meal, and not as good as here. It seems to get busy talking to a few other people who go there regularly, so I'd say get there early to get a seat. We'll done, everyone associated with La Chaiteria, and keep it up. And as you can see from my pic, there's a good vegan menu on the board, too.

Since they “shut down” last year for months and then reopened (new owners?) the food is greatly compromised — I will not go back now.

The atmosphere was very down to earth, and every single side dish was bussin(good) I am truly floored as to how good the meal was and the turmeric lemonade wasn't bad either. I will definitely order again.

This is an amazing little spot in Tucson. The menu is variable with a whole list of vegan items. We tried huitlacoche tacos and fish tacos and both dishes were delicious. Very much worth a stop!

Not exactly Mexican food. I'd call it more of a fusion of mexican food with some differences peppered in from Latin America. The food was very well cooked and tasty. Offering some slight twists to mexican classic meals. When you need a change might be an interesting place to visit.

Now I know why this restaurant has such a high rating with +800 reviews - amazing! I had the fish tacos a the Pick Me Up juice, so fresh, combination of flavors was delicious. You can tell the people who work here truly care about the quality of the food, and also great, friendly service. Highly recommend!
