In my opinion location and ambience is the ONLY nice thing about this restaurant. This place is overpriced and every item of food was unfavorable, even the table side guacamole. The service at the bar was terrible. The margaritas were terrible. There is a ton of Mexican in Tucson, I would suggest going somewhere else. I will never be back.

This place is so over hyped. The food is great. Nary a server to be found during lunch. Maitre de took 5 minutes before she hopped out of the back to seat us. The place is nice. Beware the flies though. You're fighting them the whole time to stay off your food. Can't imagine what it's like in the kitchen.

We came here to get some good Mexican food with some NY out of towners, had not been to this restaurant so we rolled the dice. We did have a solid meal with very attentive service. Everyone enjoyed their food, I will say the chips/salsa and guacamole we ordered were on point. We had wanted to do the table side Guac, but apparently the person that does it was not there which is unfortunate.
I am a Chilaquiles expert (self proclaimed of course) and will say that they are flavorful here particularly for a green sauce BUT they were very salty (sauce) and I was disappointed that they do what I call the 'short cut' version of the corn tortillas. Short cut version is where restaurants use chips vs. preparing the corn tortillas by lightly frying or baking so they are a nice combo of soft/cooked.
The Tres Leches Cake was 5 star level!

The last time we were there my husband ordered the quesabirria tacos. They brought the order out and it had 2 long hairs in it. They apologized and brought another order. This one also had a long hair in it. The waitress apologized again. The ticket came and they charged him for the food. The least that they could do was give him the meal.

Food was delicious. It’s authentic with a unique twist. The food is very flavorful and colorful. The atmosphere is fun but laid back. My only complaint is the server was neglectful.. it was just my son and I. We sat there for a good 10 min before she asked what drinks we wanted. I wouldn’t mind if it was busy but I saw her standing around and socializing with her male coworker the entire time.. she finally took our order and brought our food/drinks but never checked on us. We finished our food and sat there for about 15 min waiting on the check, she never bothered to look in our direction. I looked back at her and she was standing at the bar, still socializing with her coworker. I was getting impatient at this point and decided to walk up to her and asked for our check. She looked a little embarrassed but what was she expecting just standing there and talking?? I was nice enough to leave a tip even though she didn’t deserve one. It’s one thing if she’s busy and helping other customers but standing and socializing while your customers are waiting is plain rude. Idk her name but she was a short /stubby Hispanic lady. I definitely enjoyed the food though..
