I love this bakery. The pan dulce, particularly the fruit empanadas (the cherry and mango are my favorite), and the flour tortillas are the highlights. I always make it a point to stop by on my trips to Tucson. I lived in Tucson for 8 years and I miss this bakery dearly. It is a gem.

I bought 2 dozen red beef tamales for $24.00 each dozen. They were not good. A smidgen of beef. No red sauce and one skinny little jalapeño. Tasteless. Will not be going back.
