The food was good but the service was terrible. The waitress dropped off our food and we never saw her again. She dropped off our check and never asked if we wanted dessert or even refills on our drink. Weird since it was my birthday & I was looking forward to fried ice cream. Lol guess we will have to go to another restaurant for dessert.
Love it here! Courteous staff, and the food is great!

My favorite place on the Eastside. I dream about the toritos 🤤
They could improve by serving authentic Mexican cuisine instead of the tasteless, cold, bland, "hospital food ". We're not all old, and some of us still have taste buds.
Good food and service. The chips , beans and salsa are delicious.
This is for the Tuscon Mountain Estate area off Kinney Road on the west side. They bought our favorite local restaurant, and we were concerned about it continuing to be a favorite. BUT it still is, AWESOME.
We are visiting from another state and were so very impressed with the friendliness and speed of the wait staff!! And the food was delicious! We selected the restaurant because we could order nopales-we had never had these before in our region. We loved our dinner!
This very new restaurant has quickly established itself as the go to Mexican Restaurant on the East side. It is the closest to a restaurant located in Mexico that I hve found in Tucson. Truly delightfull food ( all made fresh in house,), served hot and in a prompt fashion. Add in the warm and genuine service and the very fair pricing and you ahve all of the ingredients for a worthwhile visit. We went ofr breakfast and the large portions hit the spot, This only the second review of the this resatuant, however, I have no doubt that many excellent ones will follow.
Yesterday (Friday 10/14), we decided to try this new restaurant, which has just recently opened on the Eastside. We got there for a late lunch (1:40), the place was half full, and customers kept coming, for the entire time we were there. As we walked in, we were warmly greeted by several people working there. I immediately smelled ammonia (cleaning fluid), and that sort of put us off, as when we walk into a restaurant, we want to smell good food cooking, not sanitizers. However, decided to stay, and we were seated in a nice cozy booth against the wall. I ordered the "Shrimp Quesadilla", and my husband ordered the "Camarones Rancheros" (shrimp in tomato sauce, bell peppers and onions). We were delighted that they have "Bohemia" beer, as so few places have it, and it is our very favorite of the Mexican beers. It was brought out ice cold, with ice cold frosted glasses., along with delicious chips and salsa. I do not like tortilla chips, and never eat them, but my husband encouraged me to try these, and I was very pleasantly surprised at how fresh and good they were. The food was brought to the table within 15 minutes. We looked at our plates, and thought, no way, will we be able to finish all this, but, surprisingly, we did. The meals were, absolutely delicious. We really had not expected too much, but were delighted that we had come here. Luckily, desserts are not on the menu, so, after this full meal, we were not tempted to order any. They get a rating of four from me, because of the smell of ammonia as we came in, and, also, we really, missed some background music. Mexican music is so beautiful, and with no music, the atmosphere just was not as it should be. The food and service were wonderful, and we hope to get back there soon.
Food was decent service was okay the problem was we ordered three iced teas and when we got the bill we were charged almost $20 for three iced teas. When we questioned them they informed us there are no refills which is absolutely ridiculous. They didn't happen to mention this to us of course. Thank God we weren't as thirsty as normal or it could have been upwards to $40 that we would have paid for iced tea. We will never go back absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!
