Took my family in for dinner anms we've been here before, long ago. The food was not as we remembered it. I had a chicken chimichanga and it was very full of cartilage. I could get a couple of bites in because every other bite had so much cartilage in it. Their red enchilada sauce tastes like any canned sauce. You get a tiny portion of rice that honestly tasted like Uncle Ben's rice, as someone else in reviews stated. Beans were ok. The tables were sticky, and I witnessed who I think was a manager, take the waiters tips off his tables. Their pricing has definitely changed--$4 for drinks and my plate of chimichanga, rice and beans cost $19+. La Parrilla Suiza just isn't what it used to be.

I was there with my son, grandchildren and great Great-Grandsons, both very young, and everyone was very cooperative and patient.

There are two locations in Tucson. The location on Speedway is superior in quality of food and service. Oracle location does not have draft beer, only bottles. Speedway location has both. The draft Negra Modelo on Speedway is my favorite. Also the Tortilla soup at the Speedway location is the best.

Slow service, sticky tables, inattentive waiters, weak drinks….UNCLE BEN’s rice literally out of the bag. Poor quality ingredients and the meal took 20 minutes to arrive on a slow Sunday. The sauces and tamales are not fresh. Tamale was cold in the center despite being on a warmed plate. Beautiful building inside but they need a new staff and management.

Last night my husband, 2 friends and I stopped for dinner. I had the veggie fajitas which says comes with beans and rice. The oil that they use to fry the chips in needs to be changed, they were bitter and hot. The beans did not taste good, thankfully they only gave me a couple of tablespoons of it and I did not recieve any rice. The veggies were burnt so it ruined the taste. You can definitely tell they are using cheap versions of everything to make the food but charge for the better versions. Even the horchata was gross. I was super disappointed but not surprised.

I hadn't eaten here in a long time. What I remember about l.P.S. restaurant was their great food and a joyful, comfortable atmosphere. I ordered a steak and my favorite charro beans. To my disappointment it was not what I expected to eat. The steak a little dry the charro beans not at all the favor they use to be ( or cooked with the homemade touch as mom or nana would make them)how times have changed. I sincerely hope their food will go beyond great in their reviews. I do thank the waitress for their service and patience A good job done.

Worst place in the town
My family and I have been going to La Parrilla Suiza for over 30 years. It is the best authentic Mexican restaurant. For the past 8 years, we've been going to the one mainly in Mesa, AZ, but we also go to the ones in Tucson as well. They are all excellent service and excellent atmosphere. I highly recommend all of the restaurants.

Very disappointed in this place. Used tomato sauce instead of enchilada sauce. Burrito was 80% tortilla as well. Wouldn't recommend this place to my ex wife ya feel me.

Ordered the Carne asada and house special burrito plates. If you would like sauce on these I recommend you request it. Found the food bland. Server was good. Place was cute (would have been amazing to see the fireplace going, but it is way to hot here right now). 3pm also seems to be a slow time which is perfect if you just want to catch up with family after a busy day.
Parking: Plenty of parking spots in a lot
Kid-friendliness: Have kids meal options
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to go up to the door with HC parking

Only 4 or 5 people in the place and we waited for a server to show up and then he did. We got our order but we didn’t see the server again. I had to go hunt someone down so we could pay and leave. The server didn’t really care if we got served or not. Really bad service.
The food was okay but not great. The refried beans had no seasoning and bland.
This is the first time and last time for me. I honestly don’t know how they stay in business.
