There are two locations in Tucson. The location on Speedway is superior in quality of food and service. Oracle location does not have draft beer, only bottles. Speedway location has both. The draft Negra Modelo on Speedway is my favorite. Also the Tortilla soup at the Speedway location is the best.
I hadn't eaten here in a long time. What I remember about l.P.S. restaurant was their great food and a joyful, comfortable atmosphere. I ordered a steak and my favorite charro beans. To my disappointment it was not what I expected to eat. The steak a little dry the charro beans not at all the favor they use to be ( or cooked with the homemade touch as mom or nana would make them)how times have changed. My family and I have been going to La Parrilla Suiza for over 30 years. It is the best authentic Mexican restaurant. For the past 8 years, we've been going to the one mainly in Mesa, AZ, but we also go to the ones in Tucson as well. They are all excellent service and excellent atmosphere. I highly recommend all of the restaurants.
