Staff couldn't be bothered. Barely came back to check on us.....we had to flag the server down ourselves. Asked for more chips that never came. Had to wait almost 10 mins for more water AND ice, jalapeños and salsa for nachos. Won't be back.

Very good food and service. We were able to sit outside because the weather was nice and not too hot. Very enjoyable visit and the service was very good. I was a little disappointed they didn't have any flan.

The shrimp birria was great. It came with a mild verde sauce, spicy salsa and rich consomme, The bartender was super friendly and the building is charming! The only drawbacks are limited seating (three tables inside + bar, so you'll likely need to enjoy the lovely patio instead) and the prices are bordering on high ($16 for two birria tacos) and they charge you for extra chips. Anyway, I would come back!

We had the most amazing service and experience here! It was overwhelming coming to Tucson with so many options for food, and decided to try some authentic Mexican here. Great choice, it was delicious! Amelia, our waitress, went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and taken care of! Drinks came out quickly and the food was fresh/hot. Absolutely recommend trying this place!

Overall, great patio people watching on historic 4th Ave while drinking cocktails and eating chips/salsa. The staff hustled and we're very friendly, they kept us filled with cocktails and beers.

Reservation was useless and we were seated over 1/2 hr. late. Drinks were good. Food was decent, but they charged $4 per bowl of beans and $4 per bowl of rice. This wasn't mentioned and was implied it came with the meal. And they also charged for a 1/2 filled basket of chips and salsa, and since the reservation was so late, we ordered another. We're not big eaters, and didn't even eat the beans and rice. But all these extra add ons and hidden charges added another $25 to the bill. We've been to NUMEROUS Mexican restaurants in the US and in Mexico, and we've never been charged for chips and salsa. Won't be back to this place.

Small place with a vibe to match. Take the patio seating time and weather permitting. Food was really good but pricey for the portions. Worth the stop but wouldn't be a go-to more of a backup.
