Food was delicious and service was outstanding. We did have some trouble with carrying on a conversation with our party of 4

I was one of a party of four. We have eaten there in the past and it's been wonderful. Last night my meal is not wonderful. I ordered steak fritte. I ordered medium and it came out bloody rare and when they took it back I believe they just zapped it and when it was brought back to the table, it was so difficult to cut and had no flavor. My other friends had lovely meals, but mine was not.

Great food at a reasonable price. We chose to eat in the informal section of the restaurant as opposed to the formal dining room. The atmosphere was great and we felt very comfortable. Our waitress was very nice. We really enjoyed talking to her. Overall a great experience. I can highly recommend this restaurant. It offers a quite different dining experience here in Tucson, unmatched by any other restaurants we have been too.

We were celebrating our 46th anniversary and Le Rendezvous fulfilled all our desires for a great evening. Outstanding service, great drinks and a wonderful dinner.

Pricey entrees but delicious! Quality French food, with wonderful variety of selections. Tasty soufflés to top off a wonderful meal.

Not sure what was happening at this visit. Our reservations were for 5:30; the restaurant wasn't too busy yet. But after we ordered, we were informed that they were out of the posted fish of the day and were given an option. Also, I ordered a half bottle of chardonnay; a few minutes later I was informed that they were out of that as well. It was only slightly annoying, but not expected of a restaurant of this caliber. The food was excellent, as usual. Le Rendez-vous is one of my favorites in Tucson.

We had six small plates. What a wonderful way to try a variety of food. The entire staff was fantastic!! We highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was delicious. We unfortunately lost our server midway through the meal, but other servers were around to assist us. The soufflés were amazing. A real treat.

The best restaurant in Tucson - hands down. Impeccable service and food quality. The Sea Bass was so fresh and delicious!

The staff were all wonderful. Our waitress was very informative and patient. Food was delicious. The mini Wellington small plate was more than ample. I could have had small plates for my dinner. The pear salad was large. I love that we could share our food selections without peamnalty. Salmon entree was fresh and light tasting. Sea bass was wonderful. Creme brulee was lovely with a refreshing orange flavor. We will be back!

We are so fortunate to have this authentic classic French restaurant in Tucson! It is a gem, with great food and charming atmosphere. Servers are friendly and capable, although the kitchen can be slow at times. We really enjoy coming here! One of the best places to dine in Tucson!

Spoiled as usual. We've been their many times and are never disappointed. Not the greatest part of town. I think they may have better business in the Foothills.

Our service was absolutely terrible. The first round of bread on the table was stale.
It took forever for them to take our drink order and our main order. Then they only served half of the table and it was a long time before they brought the other food out. My husband had the Veal medallions with caramelized apples & apple brandy demi-glaze. It was literally flavorless and there was one apple in the dish. My Wellington with mushroom puff pastry and truffle sauce was boring and Lukewarm to cold in several spots. The carrots were undercooked & potatoes also needed herbs and salt.
I started going to Le Rendezvous back in the late 1989-1990’s and it was wonderful. We haven’t dined here since and Now I know why! The food Jean-Claude Berger ( original Owner ) created was authentic. Unfortunately Le Rendezvous is not good anymore.
Do not waste your money.

We had an anniversary trip to Tucson and from reviews chose this restaurant for our celebration. I made a reservation and listed the occasion on the reservation. Absolutely no acknowledgement of any kind as to why we were dining. Disappointing.

This restaurant is listed as Tucson's premier French restaurant. Our second disappointment was when the bread was delivered, my assessment of the baguette was that it tasted like oven toasted bread you'd buy in any grocery store. We only ate one piece each, what's the point of any more?

Another disappointment was the service. Most of the service was done well, but our wine was never refilled by the staff. A very minor point because pouring to refill our glasses is trivial, but it shows the lack of attention that should be provided by a high quality restaurant.

And finally, my dinner fork had one very bent tine. I didn't complain or have it replaced but this again shows the lack of attention.

On to the food! Absolutely nothing wrong here. Our salad and French Onion soup were delicious. The Chateaubriand was presented and cooked perfectly. The Souffle was amazing (the first time I've ever had a souffle that didn't fall!) and the Crème Brûlée was delicious.

All in all a fine place for a good meal, but if you want something really special consider some other options.
