Not sure what was happening at this visit. Our reservations were for 5:30; the restaurant wasn't too busy yet. But after we ordered, we were informed that they were out of the posted fish of the day and were given an option. Also, I ordered a half bottle of chardonnay; a few minutes later I was informed that they were out of that as well. It was only slightly annoying, but not expected of a restaurant of this caliber. The staff were all wonderful. Our waitress was very informative and patient. Food was delicious. The mini Wellington small plate was more than ample. I could have had small plates for my dinner. The pear salad was large. I love that we could share our food selections without peamnalty. Salmon entree was fresh and light tasting. Sea bass was wonderful. Creme brulee was lovely with a refreshing orange flavor. We will be back!
We are so fortunate to have this authentic classic French restaurant in Tucson! It is a gem, with great food and charming atmosphere. Servers are friendly and capable, although the kitchen can be slow at times. We really enjoy coming here! One of the best places to dine in Tucson!
