I really love this restaurant so I kind of hate to post this but this aspect of the restaurant is just ridiculous to me. We ordered 55.00 worth of takeout food. Since when are chips and salsa not included with your entree. My order was three entrees. I asked for chips and salsa and got the tiniest bag of chips I have ever seen. When I asked for more chips I was told that there is a charge for extra chips. I asked for Leo who is the owner manager and he gave me another tiny bag of chips. This is not the first time this restaurant has been stingy with tortilla chips. I have been there at least 10 times and every time I go there we get one bowl of chips. When we ask for more chips we are asked are you sure you want them because your dinner is on the way. If I didn't want chips I wouldn't ask for them. Quit being stingy.
Zero flavor. Save your money. Hit a chain or even Taco Bell.
Great old school family run Mexican place.

My husband and I have ate at Leo's a few times, first time the food was awesome, every time after that it just got worse and last week was awful. My plate looked like the enchiladas was wrapped with a thick piece of hard cheese and wrapped in a tortilla covered with some sauce, there was no sauce on the bottom just a white colored tortilla. The cheese was not melted inside the enchilada and it was hard. The Chile relleno, I was having trouble finding the cheese and it was soggy. I did point this out to Leo the owner and his reply was the tortillas are thick. I ate 2 bites and they still charged me for food that was inedible, We will not be back!!

The food, service, and atmosphere were beyond any in Tucson.
Native of Tucson of 60 plus years. Been to all the great Mexican restaurants in town. On Friday at poker a few of the players said the food is great. My Wife, Son, 7 month old Grandson and I gave Leo's a try. We all had the #1 and honestly the food was bland without much taste. Why not have some spices in the ground beef in the tacos, enchilada, and tamales? The service by our waitress was impeccable. Maybe I should have had the Chili Con Carne plate. At $64.00 plus the tip not sure will return. As we left our waitress said, she hoped to see us again. After reading the one and two star reviews it was as if she knew we would not be back. Honestly Leo's needs to find a cook that uses spices...
