Little Anthony's is an absolute gem of Tucson. Fully leaned into being a 50s diner but doesn't let that be a crutch, they have actually great food. Fun vibes, great milkshakes, and plenty of spaces to run around if you bring kids.

I always get the California dreamin' burger in the dining room, but it can't be forgotten that the gaslight theater next door is amazing too and the food comes directly form the restaurant so you can always trust it to be well made.

The portions are great. The pricing is great, but why is the food served cold? the last three times we’ve gone. The food is cold.

Have eaten there many times over the years we have visited Tucson. Most were good with b quick service. This last time just before Christmas 2025, I ordered the cheese steak sandwich with cottage cheese side and found the sandwich difficult to eat. I believe it was because the beef was not cut across the grain, but instead with the grain of beef making it difficult to bite off and chew. Only ate about half. Otherwise the service and following performance were great.

Been to Little Anthony’s a few times, reasonably priced, large menu, food that I’ve had was good comfort food and staff seems friendly enough. But I was recently there put in my order and an hour later still hadn’t received it so I paid for my drink and exited. Food was no where to be seen, others who came in after me were being served. Will think twice before going again

The burgers are cooked as ordered; I try a different one each visit and they have all been very tasty. Don't skip the shakes!

A Most Enthusiastic Greeting…

This is not only a great restaurant, it is also a Harvest Host for travelers. My experience started with a meeting and tour of the parking area by Sam the restaurant manager. She couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. She stressed that if I should need anything to reach out and she’ll do her best to help out. She certainly made me feel that they truly welcome Harvest Host guests.

This was followed up with Sofia, my dinner waitress, who was also quite cheerful and I was greeted with a smile and great service.

I stopped back in for breakfast the next morning and my great service continued with Teaghyn. She too was quite attentive and checked back often to make sure I was pleased and had everything I needed.

It seems that everyone on their staff has this same ethos… treat the clients like family.

The owner, Tony Terry Jr., actually has his cell phone number on every table and he stresses that if you are the least bit upset with your experience to text him. That’s a sign of confidence in your staff and your product. Amazing.

I stayed here two years ago and my experience was so good that I had to come back… I’m glad I did.

Give them a try. I think you’ll be quite pleased.

No culinary escapades here, pretty basic diner food, comfort foods, quirky fun place.

This diner feels like stepping back in time, with classic menu items you’d expect from an old-school diner and vintage cars displayed out front that add to the nostalgic charm. The atmosphere alone makes it a memorable stop.

My wife and I just had another fantastic little Abner's steak dinner. If you go get the two pounder porterhouse. Been going here for over 40 years was the best then and is the best now. Thank you again, all you workers at Little Abner. God bless you and Merry Christmas!
