The Empress tea is not your typical high tea. And yet it was very wonderful. It's a buffet instead of courses, with lots of food to choose from. The room was quiet and we had a great time conversing and enjoying the food and atmosphere. The price was 1/2 of what we paid at other high tea experiences. And the manager was very open to additional ideas for the next one, which I found refreshing.
We attended a Saturday evening dance party in the Catalina Ballroom with OnesAll Band. We did not dine but had our ticket included complimentary chips and salsa and soft drinks, in addition an in-room bar to purchase adult beverages. Margaritas were very good. It was a very nice evening of live music and dancing from 7-9 pm. Doors opened at 6. It was a Sold out event. Most enjoyable. A beautiful venue. Look forward to the next one.
It's been a while since my family had Easter Brunch at Westward Look. We liked the small setting. However, the food got 3 stars since the eggs were COLD. Thank god the bacon was outstanding.
