Was visiting Tucson from Phoenix and decided to try this place out and it was probably among the worst tacos I’ve had. Pastor was dry and flavorless, the ribs were greasy no meat at all, the carne asada was chewy and flavorless the tortillas were greasy and hard not good at all.

I was in Tucson for several days on a business meeting. I found Tacos Apson and went there four times during my 5 day trip!!
The tacos easy rasurado and beef rib plate were absolutely phenomenal. I’ve been to Mexico City and even the tacos there pale in comparison to this gem.
I didn’t like Tucson at all because of the heat, but I’d move there just to have these tacos daily. Best taco shop in Tucson bar none.

I have to say this is one of the best taco spots in Tucson! We ordered for 3 people, 6 tacos, 1 burrito. The order came out with in 3 minutes. The prices are the same as other taco spots. The also have combination plate, tortas, burritos, and carne by pound. Get the cebollas and jalapenos.
I would recommend anyone in Tucson to stop here at least once.

Sorry but food was NOT good at all! VERY GREASY & Tripita Tacos were soaked in oil instead of fried! Barbacoa is shredded meat not the real thing. NOT recommended!!!

Yeah we just looking for some tacos you know so we try something different tacos real delicious all the food was really really interesting too so hard to choose from and some caramel and tacos tacos de cabeza de trepias. It's great food all the way around.

I got a medium caramelon and large horchata. It was fire!! Loved it! Especially for the size. I can imagine how much bigger a large was. The service was quick and easy to retrieve the food. Everyone was friendly so I definitely will be coming back.
Saw them featured on a show and went to see what the fuzz was about... sorry, but I'm not impressed at all. Felt like a mobile taco stand, food wasn't great, prices were too high and no signature salsa or fixings to remember (or go back to). I shall continue with my quest to find a decent taquería in this town.
Vegetarian options: They have beans...but come to think of it, they could have refried them with lard.

Arrived just in time when I came here! This place is legit so no wonder it gets packed so fast! I finally got the chance to stop by as it was on my list to try. I had heard several people recommend the place for their amazing choices in different meats all seasoned and cooked great. My husband’s order included to Apson taco. Must be the #1 item we would recommend to try when stopping here. It’s a covered outdoor seating area and you get to grab your own toppings of choice. Would come here again. It was all very delicious and the price is great for the quality and amount of food you get.

????? stars don't do it justice. This cook came up and tried to tell me a joke I didn't understand, then a moment later the dude dropped off my food. I wasn't even done paying yet. Papas Locos was great, so much meat it was hard to find potato. Just the way it should be.
