Great as always. Wish they would open one in the Mesa area. Driving all the way to Tucson is a pain in the butt.

Just average now. The chicken breast improved with more weight and more coverage the crispy crust however it is dryer. Please see to it.

We have driven by one of the Lucky Wishbone locations for years since moving here in 2005 but never gone in... until today! I love chicken fingers, so why not. It appeared they had redone the interior, it was nice and clean and had a Tucson OG vibe to it. I ordered a 2 piece chicken finger meal and my hubby did the 6 piece shrimp. I loved the little box they serve the meals in. Fries were okay, chicken fingers were good and the Texas toast was decent. My husband said he liked the chicken fingers better than the shrimp (he was grazing on my box) Bottom line, it is fried food so do not come here if you are seeking healthy. Staff was very friendly and nice. Location is near a bus stop - I call that out as there were a few homeless doing the drug dance which was annoying given the big windows/views here.

The current 7 piece dark meat fried chicken box for under $10 is a solid winner.

Found this one after a long hike and it felt like a cozy reward. Friendly face at the counter, hearty portions, and that James Beard thing kind of famous now. Didn’t love the chipped plate I had, but food was solid and the vibe warmed me up fast.

These stores are Icons of Tucson. Been around forever and they do one thing, sell fried food. If you like chicken livers, look no further, this is the place to go. I think their fries are probably the best around and they make damn good fried chicken as well!

If in Tucson you must try the wishbone. Steak fingers are the best.
