The food was mediocre at best. Fried chicken strips and fried steak fingers were just ok. We love to support local businesses, but this is a first and last.

Aubrey was such a gem on Friday night when my guy and I cruised through before they closed. She made my first LW experience great!

Visited 2024.07.08 for lunch; had a two-piece breast combo that came to $11.52. I can’t say that this was the most satisfying Lucky Wishbone meal I’ve had over the years. The chicken was somewhat overcooked and chewy, and the breading on the skin was half missing. This was my first time at the Harrison store; I usually go to the Broadway/Swan location where the chicken is consistently amazing. Maybe I just came in on a bad day?

Anyway, the store was clean. Bathroom was clean — well yeah, ya gotta wash your hands after handling fried chicken, french fries and very buttery toast!

The two staff behind the counter with whom I interacted were very friendly and professional.

It’s a local Tucson chain in business since the early 1950s. My first memories of the Lucky Wishbone were back in the late 60s/early 70s dining in their store at 1104 S Wilmot — you can still recognize the building. They’re a part of Tucson history, from that neon sign at the Broadway/Swan shop, to the 1970s commercial with a great song by local band Oracle we heard for years (the store’s founder’s son was in the band; you can hear the song on YouTube).

Will not return. Both the gizzards and the steak fingers were overcooked or just chewy and not very good at all. The garlic toast was a little greasy and the fries were ok. The cole slaw was good. The fried shrimp was the best thing that we tried. They serve their lucky wishbone sauce with everything, which is essentially cocktail sauce, so good with shrimp but strange with steak. The counter service was nice, especially after the order was wrong. They got 2 out of 3 orders incorrect. When we told another worker that the gizzards were too chewy to eat, he said, "Sorry about that, we don't make them here." This was our first and last visit to this place. An unfortunate disappointment.

Pop chicken. 6 onion rings very burnt bread. Over done dry chicken . Small pieces. Been going there since 1960. No more 3rd time in last 6 months not up to par. Friends say the same. To bad . ?

Great customer service. Gizzards were just a bit gristly, but the flavor was excellent!!
Haddock was quite good as were the fries. Cole slaw was crisp and tasted fresh but could use a little finesse on flavor. It seemed more vinegar-y than I'm used to.
I'd eat there again!
