Been stopping there for years to get Pastrami sandwiches as they have always been good. Yesterday my wife bought 3 to bring home as usual. The sandwiches were so dry & the meat looked to be compressed and so dry it was not edible. It didn't even taste like pastrami. We live a way from there so my wife called today & asked for the manager to let him know about the issue so this wouldn't happen next time she is in the area (not for any type of replacement). Being a CHICAGO native of bee in Tucson since 71’ been going to LUKES from his time on 22nd/pantano.
My son and I were just their last week. Lukes was a suggested to us by a local friend. It was amazing! We ate it wet with zero regrets. The best overall meal that I have eaten out of Tuscon in the last 6 years.
