I just hit the drive thru for an Italian beef with peppers and cheese. What a sandwich... Let's say you were craving roast beef. You might think to go to Arby's for a beef n cheddar or 2. Lukes will give you twice the beef for the price and with a lot better quality and service.
Let me tell you. It's been 30 years since I first Ate Luke's and started Enjoying His creations! This is a must try. Italian Hot Beef Sandwich!!! Ribeye Steak sandwich Italian Sausage Sandwich. Or any combination. Luke is retired But helps out every day for the Lunch Rush! I can't wait till I get another one!
Lukes.... a local, long time ckassic. Of course the Chicago-style Italian beef is what Lukes is known for .... I like it plain and dipped. But the Chicago dog with all the fixing is really really good! Then you have the french fries... I think they're the best french fries in Tucson. Old school thick crinkle cut fries... Chrisp...And yeah they're actually salted while they're hot.
