Joe himself is praised for continuing a great culinary tradition, offering a range of Maltese specialties. The pastizzis were so delicious, and Joe was making some while visitors were there. He was such a kind person and even offered a cup of coffee. Visitors were not disappointed and had some of the most flakiest, unique pastries. The pastizzis are something everyone should try and the dessert mintizzis are borderline addicting. Visitors will see Joe Sunday at the farmers market.
The Pastizzi were delicious and the safe shipping was exactly as promised—the order arrived on time and well-packaged. Great communication and excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommend! The pizza pastzzi from the food truck at the local Oktoberfest were better than pizza, and Joe was so sweet and knowledgeable. Stopped into Malta Joe's to try some pastizzi, including a special for 2 savory and one mini sweet for $10 - the birria was super flavorful with moist meat and crispy phyllo, the pizza was loaded with ricotta, sauce and mini pepperoni, and the Nutella sweet was crunchy and chocolatey. They also threw in a bonus lemon custard pastry. Highly recommend trying them, as they cook to order, so it's best to order online or call.
