Sat outside on a beautiful night. Owner was super welcoming and friendly. Made me this breakfast platter (they serve breakfast all day) with mole, chilaquiles, beans, potatoes, eggs, and a bunch other good stuff. First time here. Won’t be last. Highly recommend

Wow just amazing! The owner Martin is honest, hilarious, and talented. We were totally charmed and then the food arrives. We enjoyed it so much. Each dish was incredibly delicious and you could taste the love put into it. We now have a favorite spot. Check it out.

This has been hands down the best Mexican restaurant I’ve tried in Tucson! The owner is hilarious and so attentive and friendly! The food was amazing and so authentic as well! The carne asada torta and the horchata was hand made and made with fresh ingredients. The beans and chips were also so delicious. Definitely recommend and will be back!

Don't sleep on this place, food is legit! Martin is a master at what he does. I think it's hilarious how offended people get. Martin is hilarious and if you can't find the humor go to nasty ass Chipotle hahaha love this place and the owner.

This guy is an asshole. Depending on his mood he may charge you market value or double. No prices on the menu and rude if asked about price. ....

Do yourself a favor and go a few doors down to Boca

Im convinced most of these reviews are from their family or friends! This is in no way a 4 star experience. Stay far away unless you like overly salted food and rude service. Whatever you do don't ask to speak to the owner. Its apparent that the rudeness starts at the top and sets the standard for the servers. Too many other local food choices in the area to pay for disappointment at this one!

Very rude owner/manager/cook smoking on the front stoop. Claimed we disrespected “our elders” when a couple of retirees barreled into us leaving the building and we were late to give way to them. This happened a while back, but recent discussion of crappy service brought up the memory.

This Saturday, March 1st at approximately 8 pm my mom & I had the worst experience at Martins on 4th Avenue. We had attended a 3hour tile craft class on 4th Avenue & decided the relax & eat at Martins. We sat outside at the table/chairs. While at the craft class we had a pizza & planned to take the leftover pizza home so we sat the pizza box on the table. The waiter walked up-asked if he could help us & we asked for a menu. He proceeded to tell us we could not have the pizza box on “his table” & refused to give us a menu. We again said we would like to see a menu & we were NOT eating our pizza there. At that point he started to yell at us saying “f—-you- get out of here” in his rant repeating saying “f—-you”. He asked our names- which we told him but he would not tell us his name. Then we calmly again said “we are here to eat-what is the problem?” He went on repeatedly saying “f—- you- get away from MY table!” What was his explosive attitude & foul language about? My mom is 72 & we were out for a calm fun craft nite & this is how we get treated? He was scary. I highly suggest for people to not go to this restaurant.

Cool dark atmosphere, food was decent, the beans were EXTREMELY salty. No prices on the menu.
