I don't see any newer reviews at all ?? did I miss the memo. anyway...about my 5 or 6 time going here in past 20 years..Went in the Spring and it was fine so stopped the other day.....I can understand why this place can put you off.....I love the family thing but I want to go eat and not walk into a HUGE huge, yes family Shrine..... It is fine that they want and need to do this but really it is almost 2023 and people really don't want to go out to eat and have this 1st and last thing when you walk in and out..I respect that they do this but it is forever going to keep a lot of paying customers from Ever coming back...Too much !! sorry.....and way to LARGE A MEMORIAL to the founders.....ok The food is VERY GOOD..Some of the best in Tucson and not a Tourist stop Mexican Restaurant.....Real Good food and table chips and Salsa rock it.....the shredded beef is a 10...better than the local Tucson again old Tourist rated places to go when in Tucson....All that is BS....This place is good....Also don't sit in the booths.To much drama near the cash and take out areas.Too busy to relax and enjoy the food and drinks...House Margaritas are wonderful.

Getting older comes with.not remembering bad meals or other bad events which can be sidestepped. Just such a thing happened to me. The chimichanga which I was served at Michas was clearly a reheated frozen chimi, It might pass for Mexican food in Algeria or Botswana but not here in Tucson. When it came to the table I recalled the pattern which had been frozen into the foreign cooked meal. It was sparsely filled with some meat and fried, don’t get this item if you are forced to eat at Michas.I believe I wrote this same comment the last time I was there and perhaps with memory medicine this will have been my last time.

Delicious as always! We have been eating at Michas for pretty close to fourty years and the food is always good. Well prepared and generous portions. So glad that they are still here after all these years.
