Small casual diner (go to the original for special evening). Food is very good by Tucson standards. Two salsas the hotter of the two is pretty good for a thin (not chunky) salsa. Food is not smothered in cheddar cheese but closer to realistic farmer's cheese. Chicken tacos were quite good. Did not try their mole but might be good considering their advertised Oaxacan roots.
Will be back.

The food is delicious however the service is is extremely slow. You will be there over an hour waiting on your food. Make sure you have at least 2 hours to spend when eating here.

Excellent breakfast! The homemade flour tortillas are so good. Service was wonderful. An all around great dining experience!

This time I had the machaca and eggs. Comes with refried beans and your choice of tortillas. I got the hotter salsa. It was all delicious and properly prepared just like it always is.

I arrived at 11:35 with only two other tables, both of which had ordered. After being seated and given a menu the wait person ignored me for 20 min. In the meantime, the restaurant began to fill up. While I waited to order, then waited for my food, every single table ordered and received their food before me. The tortilla soup was flavorless except for the salt, and the chicken cubes were tiny, dry, mealy.

They refused to sell tortillas. The tortilla lady was right there and had plenty.

Food was good, but the service and cleanliness were very disappointing. Our server, who said her name was Esa, was inattentive she didn’t offer drink or chip refills and spent more time talking to the kitchen than checking on tables. The bathroom was dirty, had no toilet paper, and right after she used it, it smelled strongly of marijuana vape with a fruity scent. Thankfully, the other male employee working stepped in to assist us. Management should really address this.

Absolutely awful food. First, we show up and they are out of chips, lol really? Burger joint with no fries. Food is overpriced, cold, and tasteless. Skip it. Ole, Guadalajara, and El charro are much better anyway.
