Tamales were large but not very tasty. Large size was due to disproportionate amount of masa. Not on my return list.

Phenomenal Mexican meat market. Large selection of marinated and non-marinated meats and seafood in the deli window as well as a huge selection of snacks, drinks, canned and bottled goods and tortillas. Everything you need to make a great meal. Additionally, they have an excellent taco shop in the back of the store with some of the best tacos I've had in years. Haas style tacos come with green chiles and cheese plus your choice of meat. I tried them with carne asada, pastor, and birria and all were extremely flavorful and stuffed with meat.

I used to get the green corn and beef tamales from here. But the last two times I have noticed the size and quality has gone down. I don’t know if they changed suppliers but hope they look at this. They have been burned and the ingredients in both corn and beef are just not the same. Too bad as I used to buy weekly.

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT I ordered food 1 week in advance and was given a pick up time. I arrived at my given pick up time and was told my order could not be found. After searching under messy paperwork the employee found my order, but I was told by the employee as she giggled that they were out of what I ordered and they could not fulfill my order that was called in a week in advance. I will think twice before I choose to put my trust in Mr. Toros...I'll take my wallet else where. Additionally, from reading some of these reviews, it looks like they lose orders QUITE OFTEN....There are many other establishments to choose from in Tuscon.

Great food! I have catered a number of my parties with their food and everyone always loves it. They have a few meat packages including beef, chicken, and pork. Best of all, they will cook the food for you so all you need is something to keep the food warm!
Great mexican meat market. Loved their chicken and salsa.

I am extremely disappointed with Mr. Toro. For the past year and a half, we've been ordering meat without any issues, but today was a completely different experience. After calling in our order this morning, we arrived to pick it up only to find out that our order was never made. We were told that someone had come in and cancelled it. Who? I believe they forgot our order and they looked right at a tag with my name on it. This lack of communication and disregard for customer service is unacceptable. We trusted this place for our meat needs, and this experience has made us reconsider our options. I hope they can improve their communication for future customers. Off to find something for dinner now.
