Just moved to Tucson and had so far the Best burro here at Mr. Toro. Wonderful service and looks like a full array of meats and accompaniments from fresh chilies to prepared salsas. Look forward to being a regular here.
Lovely carnicería. Yummy meats & food, always clean. Prices are totally fair. We always get the grilled and chopped grilled proteins and it’s a bang for your buck! Totally recommend
Aside from the fresh meats, they also have a selection of cooked meats and baked goods. The tortillas are excellent and the carnitas are the best in the area.
They also sell burros and soups at the lunch counter, including red and white menudo, and have a small selection of groceries, drinks, and fresh fruits and veggies.
I highly recommend the calabacitas and caldo con queso soup, and a burro made fresh to order.
