NYPD is always great, and so is the service. The royal sandwich is so good, and it's hard for me to order anything else. It's also large enough to split with another person. The pizza slices are huge, and two small children can split that as well. The restrooms are accommodating for all people, including breastfeeding mothers, and are always clean. The prices are reasonable and they have great deserts.
Best family pizza place in Tucson, imo. Great pizza. But, even more important, every time I try some other item on the menu, like the sides, or salads, it's top quality food. Also, great anesthetics inside, and nice layout to eat as a family. While I usually will pickup the food to go on my way home, eating inside is also comfortable and fun.

I went to New York City last year and was craving another slice of that heavenly pizza I had at 1am. I was visiting Tuscon and happened upon this place. I bought a slice (which was gigantic) and one bite took me right back to NYC. It was comparable to those little dirty, busy, pizza shops in NYC. At NYPD, at least there's no yelling, it's clean, you can sit down, and the pizza is delicious.
