We waited 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us after sitting down. Then another 20-25 minutes for our appetizers to come, it took two times of asking for our drinks (they came after the appetizers started coming out). The people next to us came in 15 minutes after us and got four mixed drinks and food before we got anything. Definitely felt neglected the whole time. :/

One can not say more about the food and drinks at Obon in Tucson. Perfectly delicious! Disappointment in where our reservation table for three ended us sitting by open patio door. Servers and guest used the space between our table as a pass way in and out of restaurant. Might as well have been seating on a busy highway. Our order was placed wrong so one of our guest sat while others ate. No idea why this occurred for our server repeated each order. Guessing it was input wrong. Not the best dining experience. Will return for our drinks, salads soups and sushi we're outstandingly delicious.

Really good flavors! The sushi rolls were original and delicious. The ramen broth was top notch! Everyone was super happy with their choices.

Food and drink remarkable. Timing of both terrible. Drinks put on table 30 minutes after order. Appetizers served late with delay and then half of our entrees came soon after and another 20 minutes before other two orders arrived so twp people watching others eat for 20 minutes. Server tried to make it right but wont go back if busy as they are not staffed to meet need.

Service was very attentive and helpful. Food was very good, sushi was very fresh. Came here for a business dinner and was very happy with my choice!

We pass through Tucson once or twice each year for business and always make a point to stop at Obon. We had dinner there this time and Brady was our server and was excellent and very personable and fun. I can't go in without having Obon's ramen. I grew up in Hawaii eating ramen so I'm kinda picky, but Obon's ramen is super! We also had a roll (forget the name, but it was the citrus roll) and was excellent. What was nice is that, unlike other sushi places where there are 10,000 "rolls" and it takes forever to muddle through the menu, Obon has just a handful and it was only difficult because they all sounded good. My wife had a delicious bowl of miso (her favorite) and she said her yellowtail collar was the most tender she had ever had. We also had seaweed salad which is usually just a small side portion, but this was a generous helping! Thanks, Obon. Thanks, Brady. We'll be back!

Checked in super fast, sat just as fast. Great food and our waitress was amazing ❤️ would definitely go out there again

This was our second time here. The venue was really busy, probably due to the cold. Our wait was about 20” past our reservation time. To me they appeared short staffed. The hostess was helping to buss tables. We were sat at tables to the side of the bar. The bartender was also our waiter and he was busy. The challenge was the food came out over a 90 minute period. First the soup and rice my wife ordered as an entree came out quickly. Then 10 minutes later the edename followed by gyoza after another 10 minutes. After a period of time out came my specialty roll and 10 minutes later, the California roll ordered by the third person. We had to ask for water and coke refills. Maybe because we were not ordering alcohol we were down a notch. The food was very good. The soy beans were a little over steamed and mushy.

We beat the lunch rush which was great. Immediately greeted when we arrived and seated. Ordering was easy. The waiter explained the difference of what i wanted and what i thought i was ordering. The food was delicious and didn't take long to make it to the table. Would definitely come back again.

The only downfall was the bird bun had noticeably been touched by some sort of fish, and had a really strong fishy taste on 2/4 of them. The original ramen was delicious.

Prior to our visit, my parents had an amazing time here, but we were left a bit disappointed. The food was good, no denying that. The ramen was great and the sushi was excellent. The only downside was the fried rice, greatly over sauced and salty. The server took it back and replaced it was a much better one. However, they forgot to serve us the gluten free version and we almost had an incident occur. Speaking of the service, while our server was polite, he failed to check in. However, the place was busy. Overall I’d give it an 8/10. Recommend coming for the sushi!

Slow service, got told 10 mins to wait, then 8 mins, then 6 mins, I've been waiting for a long time...I saw tables that came in after me get their food first, while I've been waiting for my order long before them
