Just not as good as it used to be. The food and drinks are way over priced and the food is simply average? The wait staff however is excellent.

This was our first time coming here. The food was awful! I ordered beef tacos and they taste awful, so I ordered a cheese quesadilla instead. our top shelf margaritas were too sour also.

The patio is pet friendly. Manager was awesome. The server was friendly and food was good. Thought it was a little pricey for the portion you got but it was still yummy.

We've tried lots of mexican places in Tucson. This is one of the best. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Best salsa in town. Great specials. We eat there weekly! Try it.

Seemed to be slightly understaffed but they still have excellent service regardless. The manager, Mike went above and beyond to take care of everything we and every other customer needed. Our waitress, Alyssa was super attentive and sweet. She was being overworked, it seemed and still made sure that we were happy. Our food was delicious; and I personally had one of the best margaritas of my life. I definitely recommend the sopapillas with honey and chocolate after your meal; it's to die for. Thank you for such a great dinner. I don't know the cooks name tonight but it was amazing.

7pm Saturday night. 2 servers. 15+ tables open in restaurant but can't be seated there because of lack of servers. Had to wait 15 minutes just to be seated because of this. Should've left but we were both really hungry and didn't want to go elsewhere. Service was average. She was busy so I didn't expect great service because of lack of servers on duty. Food was not good. Actually in comparison to other Mexican food places it's terrible. So many other options in Tucson for Mexican food. Don't even know why we chose On The Border. Won't be going back.
This place was excellent!!! Great atmosphere, Great service our waitress was friendly and made sure we had what we needed. The food was delicious , nice and hot ? I definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting delicious food ♥️

I ordered the steak bordurito, and it came with rice, beans, and a small portion of salsa. It was 10/10, I would definitely recommend! The chips and salsa were delicious as well! I will definitely be coming back

WORDT SERVES EVER!!!!! the food was HORRIBLE!!!! never go here!!!!! I am highly disappointed!!! We waited 20 minutes for someone to even take our order there was only six people in the whole place!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I EAT HERE!!!

Well i start by saying the food quality and quantity was good i cant complain about the food. My issue i had during my visit was the service. There was only 3 other tables 4 counting me so it was empty so there is no reason that i had to finally after waiting for a long period go get my own refill on my drink numerous times. But this wasn't the worst of it. The part of my experience that caused me to write this horrible review is i was walking to the restroom passing the hostess atation where the host and i assume a server were talking at a normal voice level easy for others to hear clearly and what i heard from this young man was vulgar and very inappropriate for anybody to hear in a family atmosphere. Sorry for such a long review but i felt i needed to be mentioned.
