A Hidden Gem for New England Style Chinese in Tucson!
As someone who has spent nearly a decade on the East Coast and loves New England-style Chinese food, I had spent my first years here in Tucson trying to find that unique flavor without any luck.
Well, it's been a few years now since I located this place and have to say this spot serves up the real deal, and it’s been my favorite since relocating!
The boneless spare ribs are rich, flavorful, and perfectly glazed. Beef teriyaki skewers are tender and packed with bold taste that pairs nicely with their fried rice and egg rolls always served hot.
The staff is incredibly friendly and always happy to make recommendations that never miss. And while the outside might not catch your eye right away, step inside and you'll find a clean, inviting space with a surprisingly nice aesthetic.
People in a Facebook group recommended Panda One for the best Fried Rice, so I decided to try it - and it was okay - not good, not bad, I don't think I will ever find good Fried Rice in Tucson. I also ordered the BBQ Spare Ribs - they were too sweet for me.
I ordered the egg fu Yung for the 1st and last time from here. It wasn't fresh and while eating some of it I bit into and egg shell.
Great food
Very good food it was fresh and we just love the food that we get there.
I was happy with what I ordered , I liked that they don't use MSG, the shrimp in my shrimp with mixed vegetables was really tender
So far the best Chinese I've had since being in Tuscon
Always friendly. There is welcome feeling entering the building. Makeover of dining space is complete abd clean.
Great food, affordable prices, very peaceful and chill atmosphere. The staff is very kind and pleasant.

Hidden GEM alert! 😍 Very grateful that our waitress was knowledgeable on Gluten free items as she was able to make accommodations for what I was hoping to order. I got the honey walnut shrimp, steamed instead of fried, and WOW. SO YUMMY 🤤 Food was fast, very fresh, well portioned & reasonably priced. We will definitely be back! (I already want more!)
Dietary restrictions: Waitress was knowledgeable about gluten allergies!

Best Chinese I’ve had in Tucson, Gen tso chicken was amazing very crispy , order mild spice and Will amp it up next time! Fried riced was perfect and egg roll was great! Only complaint was the crab ragoons were a little bland but they were cooked perfectly and still enjoyable !!

We have got our Chinese food from Panda One for over 12 years now. This past year they have refurbished the place so it’s bright and fresh. The menu has been updated to include new items. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We think it is the best Chinese food place we’ve been to in Tucson. The quality and freshness of the food, the portion size is awesome as we always have enough leftovers for another day. We try new things quite often but I personally love the Sechwan Tofu and my husband loves the Dragon and Phoenix. We’ve never had any issues with our food and we order food from there once or twice a month. It’s our favorite restaurant. Give this little place a chance if you are in this area of Tucson.
