If you come here and don't get the large pancake, you are doing yourself a huge disservice. Their famous large pancakes can feed several hungry bears. It's fluffy inside and crisp on the outside. Come here before 8am and you get to enjoy a breakfast of eggs, sausage, toast and potatoes, all for 3$. It stands by the the saying "early bird catches the cheap worm". All in all it's a classic american dinner, with great warm hearted service and good comfort food.

Its an old diner atmosphere. Food was good n economical. We ate hamburgers. Very good meat well done n big meat patties. One negative = the burger bun is too small for the size of the burger patty ,bacon, green chili n tomatoe slice. They should use a bigger size bun.

Great portions..diner vibe, neighborhood place! Diamond in the rough, great specials and the prices are great! I had a cheeseburger and it was 2 inches thick! Definitely homemade! Will go back!

Sad and sorry to go be Pappy's even the one star. We waited over 15 minutes to put in our order. Then waited an hour for our food to come to the table for our family of 3. While watching one of the plates sit under the door called heat lamp for 25 minutes. When we did finally get the food to the table the plate that had been under the sink called heat lamp was cold and rubbery. The hash browns on one of the omelets were burnt. When asked to speak to a manager or owner we were told it was beneath the owner to come take care of problems. No manager to speak of and all the waitress could say while looking any where but our table was I won't charge you if you're not going to eat. I have never had this at Pappy's before but today left a very bad lasting impression with me and my family. It was bad enough that not only did we not eat at the restaurant after all we went home to eat. I wouldn't recommend Pappy's as a good place to eat anymore.

Absolutely awful experience. There were about 3 tables with customers when we walked in. We ordered 2 burgers, a kids meal and an appetizer of potato skins. IT TOOK OVER 35 MINUTES JUST TO GET THE APPETIZER, which was simply edible. The burgers were good, but definitely not worth the wait. After speaking to the owner, he simply said "Sorry. You caught us after a rush and since we are so slow we have been stocking." He gave us no discount, and a half-assed apology. We will not return and we advise new customers to go elsewhere unless you enjoy wasting your time, money and getting poor customer service from the owner.
