I am a Tucson native and Pat’s is confusingly overrated. The chili is not good at all. I’ll give them 2.5 stars because I still eat here every long once in a while for some reason that I am not sure of, but if you grew up on southern chili dogs you will be terribly disappointed.

Chili dogs are okay bun was soggy and hot dogs were cold chili was kinda bland even the spicy didn't have much flavor. The burgers are average not much flavor Nothing special. Staff and management is very unfriendly not very welcoming which is a real disappointment.

My husband grew up in Tucson we made a visit on our honeymoon trip. These were the best chili dogs ever and I loved the retro decor. I wanted to ship some home to Wichita Ks. Definitely worth a try.

We have been going to this restaurant at least once a year when in DC. Their food and meals are very good and will return the next time we are in DC.
