This place is somewhat unusual. The food is made in a trailer outback, but you order in a main building upfront, which also has seating indoors as well as picnic tables outside. The food is traditional Mexican. Good spices, very basic. Burritos, tacos, pinto beans, etc. Some of the dishes might be too “genuine” for some Americans. Includes things like tongue. But if you don’t like that don’t order it. The beef was pretty good, although it had a few grizzly pieces in it....
Really good lunch. Four of us had a variation of the red chili (burrito, bowl or plate). One had chicken was grilled to order. Meat is tender beef, rich chili (not spicy). Beans and rice are typical fare. Red salsa is spicy and fresh. Accompanying greens were fresh and spiked with cilantro. So many things to try - want the tamales, barbacoa and the birra. Visit for breakfast and the burritos.
My neighbor, a tradesman who values good food at a fair price recommended this place. Needing a quick lunch recntly I went through the drive through. A little hard to understand over the intercom but we got the meal ordered. A short wait and my Carne Asada plate was handed to me in a plastic bag. I was not disappointed. The meal came with a drink and eating utensils and several paper napkins. A good experience.
