Food and service were excellent - will our go to Italian when visiting Catalina foothills area
A lovely evening with delicious food and excellent service. We love the eggplant Rosa appetizer and order it every time we visit.
A really good dinner, but alas, also too much on the noisy side to have a really good discussion at my table. But still appreciated!
Celebrated our Anniversary and the service as well as the food were awesome. Going to be our go to place from here on out. Not expensive either.
Amazing food and great ambiance! Make sure to try the Meat Lasagna!

I grew up in NY. I lived in Tripani Sicily. For NY this would be a 3.5 star for Tucson this is priced perfectly service is amazing. MANNY is my family's favorite waiter. I eaten a different dish every time and everytime the food was amazing. I never had any issues with the food or the staff. I am very critical. This is the only Italian restaurant in Tucson AZ. I will go to. I always tip 30% because the staff is amazing. If I had to be critical. The seats wish they had more room kinda cramped and the servers could be dressed a little tighter. Allot of staff pants are sagging. But none of that would prevent me from going. Absolutely 💯 the best Italian I have had in all of Tucson AZ

Amazing food and service our server Noah was very attentive and excelled in his customer service. he made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was delicious. We had the veal special which was outstanding.
Piazza Gavi is always outstanding. It is our go to restaurant whether we want to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or just wanting to enjoy a nice dinner. The food is so delicious. We always get the Veal Saltimbocca with the pasta having the same sauce. Our appetizer changes. We had the capri salad this time around, which was our first time having it at Gavi. It was wonderful! Noah our waiter was fabulous and so friendly. We had a nice conversation, and his service was excellent. We celebrated a birthday, and Noah gave us a generous gelato portion to share. Try Piazza Gavi, you will never be disappointed!
This is gem in the Ventana area. Food is tasty and portions are generous. So, come with an appetite!
One of the very best neighborhood restaurants in Tucson. The entrees are huge: definitely big enough to share! Wine prices are also reasonable. Our dishes were very well prepared and more innovative than what we've seen at other Italian restaurants in Tucson.

Always consistently great service with amazing food. The portions are always large and food quality top notch. One of our favorites in Tucson.
Wonderful family owned restaurant. We were treated to wonderful food with a warm atmosphere. I hope to dine again soon!
Gavi is a foothills gem, I'm there regularly. The food is excellent, portions huge and prices reasonable for what you get and the quality. Our server Peter was very good, he had his hands full and moved with great efficiency and grace. The bartender Tess is a delight (I've known her for years). My only complaint is my entree came with mushrooms, LOTS of mushrooms and I specifically said I don't like mushrooms and was told they could be excluded from my dish (everything is made to order). I picked them out and put them on a side plate so it was clear they were added when I requested they be excluded and nothing was offered as compensation. Other than that it was a great experience as usual.
Our server, Christian, was wonderful. Made excellent recommendations and was very personable. Great service. We'll be back.
I don't usually rate restaurants but. First, the bread.....we have eaten at Gavi's for years and their bread was always great Italian bread. This was small French bread with no substance. Our friend ordered the standard house meat lasagna. She was served three flat large noodles with tough spinach, no ricotta cheese. It didn't even resemble lasagna. Our waiter said it was what she ordered and they have been there many times, as well. Our server was mediocre as we waited long periods of Time to order and receive our meals. It was not crowded. It was a sad night.
