I planned to grab a pizza and breadsticks here last night when I was done shopping. I got to the store around 7:20 and saw their sign that they were open until 8:00. I only needed two things so I got them and headed over. When I got to the counter to order at 7:40, (after I stood there for a while waiting for the employee to stop talking to her boyfriend in the lobby and notice I was there) the girl told me they were out of pizza. And breadsticks. I said “How are you Pizza Hut and you're out of pizza?†She told me that the last 15 minutes they have a limited menu. When I told her that it was only 7:40 so by that standard they should have 5 more minutes to make something she said “whoa, my vision went blurry. Sorry, what?†So I repeated my question and this time she said that the last 20 minutes (not 15 like she had previously stated) they have a limited menu. So I asked her what their “limited†menu included and she looked around and told me that they have popcorn and then said “I just realized that all we have is popcorn.†POPCORN. I asked her what the point was of staying open until 8 if they weren't going to even serve food? Especially since I got to Target at 7:20, saw the sign that said EIGHT O'CLOCK and chose to stop on my way out. Had I known she was going to stop doing her job early, I would have ordered my food before I shopped. This is a terrible business practice. If they want to stop serving food at 7:40, their signs need to reflect that so people can plan accordingly. Needless to say, they'll never get my business again.
