Went in mid afternoon with three other people. There was only one other group of people there and we couldn't get service. Hard to get the bar tenders attention from the only other group.

Great place to have a event. VIP is awesome here so you have to deal with the crowd or bump into other people

I have visited the Playground a few times but recently was incredibly disappointed in the dishonest practices they seem to have. I was wrongly charged for my meal, the menu said a lesser price than my bill, and when I said something to my waitress she asked if I wanted her to change it instead of offering to make it right. The change she made was incorrect as well. Instead of ringing up my bill again with the correct price she just subtracted the difference from the bill so the tax was still based on the wrong price not the incorrect price. Upon returning the new receipt she made a rude comment about the small amount I was complaining about. Then, I got a drink upstairs. Their receipt printer was broken, which would normally be fine, but I did not get to sign for the charge and the bartender took it upon herself to give herself a tip. I was told my drink was one amount, I checked my credit card the next day and it was correct. Then a week later upon review of my statement I noticed the charge had increased. I did not sign for the increase and sadly have no way to prove it. I reached out to customer service about this experience and heard nothing back. While the amount of money I am out is not a big deal I am appalled at the dishonesty and attitude of the employees at this business and that I did not receive any sort of communication from management after reaching out. Maybe only pay cash at the Playground, they might steal your money.

we were in town for the Gem Shore and were ready for some Happy Hour FUN! ordered a nice cold local draft and appletini. YUM! Great Service too

One star because I have to, a 2nd star for the fried pickle app. The rest of it was well off the mark. Service was non existent on a slow Saturday afternoon. Beer was warm and the margarita was embarassing for a TucsonnAZ establishment. The topper and really the bane of this review is that we leftt a hat and nice pair of sun glasses behind and that's obviously on us. But to call and be told "we have them" and then drive down to pick em up and be told "we can't find them" & "who'd you talk to"is simply wrong. I left my number as requested and was told I'd be contacted...NOT! Phone system sucks as does their integrity. Grow up ladies, run a good joint and remember you're in hospitality!!

Very friendly service. Great bartenders. But the food was horrid. But if you want to watch the game TV set up is amazing. Don't like sitting at a bar and getting my drink in a plastic cup but that's what happened- If you want to drink great if you want good bar food I'd pass

To the tall, ugly mug bartender working Saturday night, how unprofessional you are. I asked for 3 shots of don julio, and this d*** fcker (keep in mind I didn't asked for it chilled) pours only 2 shots into his shaker and gives me 3 shots of watered down tequila.. for 36$.. you think you're slick playboy trying to show off, yet all the girlS were talking s*** about you. Good one buddy buddy. Worst experience ever. We're never coming back here again.

Disappointed in the happy hour menu, website and physical happy hour menu are inconsistent. We went on Monday at 4pm, the place was packed and there was just one server which lead to bad service.

This bar staff is amazing! They are prepared for big events, they remember our orders. A total pleasure to be around! Pretzels are really really good. Inside, outside and an upstairs outside . Restrooms are very clean and the heats cranked.

Okay so, I want to put out this disclaimer: I came here with a wedding party drunk on love (and actual alcohol). WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME! We had a few tables and staff was great (even though they ran out of whiskey) and the DJ was definitely hitting it. We were upstairs and had the benefit of breeze plus enough space for our whole crew to dance wildly but there were definitely enough people to make it feel like a party.

Our group was downtown and tried to eat lunch at the Cup in Hotel Congress. Could no it get us in too big. So, someone called the Playground. They got us in easily. Food was hot and tasty. A bit loud, but folks were watching football

So I've come here a few times. The staff is completely incompetent. Security treats you like crap. I had a drunk guy fall into me (I was driving that night and not drinking) and they threw me out. This has happened twice now. Telling me I'm swerving and when I told them that someone else ran into me they told me to shut up and that i talk funny. I'm german so I do have an accent. So great way to treat customers. Bar staff didn't know how to make a vodka lemon for my friend. The upstairs is really nice but the staff is just horrible

Cheap drinks and eats, great service. Great crowd! I am astounded with the positive energy on the dance floor! Had a blast! We left momentarily upon re-entery we were handed a drink ticket for ladies night. Great place to dance the night away. Seriously! $6 tap not on happy hour. Wonderful.

Great place, friendly service, fresh food! Menu selection was ok, prices were decent. Not my typical scene, but it was a cute, clean and yummy place!
