This place used to be a lot better. They seem to always be out of their best perogies and products so one would be best to call ahead before going or placing an order online to save yourself the hassle or disappointment. It’s a recurring theme over the last year or so

Food was excellent. If it wasn’t for the service I would have given 5 stars. The waitress only came back to the table to give me a check. I had one glass of water, never got checked on and saw bread delivered to every other table. I had planned on having after dinner drinks and dessert, but thought better of it. Please train staff better, the food and customers deserve it.

What a gem! Being I’m of Polish ancestry (all 4 grandparents), I just had to try this super clean restaurant in Tucson of all places. Quaint and cozy with attention to detail. Great attentive service. Food was plentiful and delicious. The gołąbek (singular of gołąbki)) was huge and just like my grandmother made. Kielbasa was nicely smoked nd not salty. Homemade barszcz (borscht) too, oh my. Some of the best pierogi I’ve ever had as well. And price was on point. Do yourself a favor, enjoy some REAL Polish cuisine not those frozen dough dumplings masquerading as pierogi, sold in the grocery or some low quality quick eatery. So glad I stopped in. Dziękuję bardzo.

Uh... sorry that I have to say sad and disappointed. I was so excited based on all the great reviews. Our ladies lunch group went today and the service was absolutely outstanding!!! The ladies were terrific & fun all around but the food... the cabbage rolls were watery, flavorless and boring. The potatoe perogies just oozed mushy potatoe and seriously... a buck extra for sour cream... how else would you eat a perogie without gravy or sour cream? The beef parogies were strange, pulverized stuff. Hunter Stew was not my thing but I'm not judging, I've never had it before. The polish sausage was outstanding! The reviews rave the apple cake but the bottom was burned and sorry to say that was all I could I could taste with every bite... burned bottom cake...

Our second stop during Sonoran Restaurant Week and we really enjoyed our dinner. The soups were great. Full portion and full of flavor. We said we'd go back just for the soup, bread, and probably try the hunters salad. We had the meat sampler and it was excellent. We had another meal at home using the leftovers. The apple cake, made in house, was a treat. Flavorful and not sugary. More cakes and pies should be like this.

Long time since our last visit and we noticed the restaurant seems brighter or warmer lightning and more spacious. If you haven't eaten here before or it's been a long time, take a break from the usual and have some good old-school Polish food.

Clearly, I need to do a better job of keeping up with the restaurant scene in Tucson. I should have been going here for as long as they have been open. Thankfully a friend asked us to to try this with a small group. We ordered an assortment of dishes and shared them, all family style. What a delight! We had hunter’s stew, breaded pork cutlet, Polish smoked sausage, cucumber salad, sauerkraut, caramelized onions, bacon bits, mushroom sauce, 3 or 4 kinds pierogis, potato pancakes, and more I cannot remember. It was all delicious. The most special surprise for wonderful was the pickle soup. It sounds peculiar, but it is not. It is great. The server was engaging, knowledgeable, helpful, and prompt. She made the good food even more enjoyable.

Polish Cottage is part of wonderful, and perhaps new, trend in Tucson. There are some very fine restaurants, such as this one, that are opening in unexpected places, So, these are a little harder to find, but well worth the effort. Polish Cottage is tucked away in an old strip-mall in mid-town Tucson in an area where there aren’t a lot of restaurants. This one, like the others, is an unexpected delight. From its location you might think it’s simply a diner, but on the inside, it is graced with a very rich ambiance, and a nice bar.

Whether you have ever eaten Polish food or not, and I had not, this is a really fine way to spend an evening. My hat is off to the owner and staff. They have put together a great experience for customers.

I was hyped to try this place but disappointed in the food. One of the worst golumpki I have had, very bland.
Perogies 4/5
Bigos was ok 3.5/5

I know it the desert but good polish food can be done. AZ market in Phoenix has amazing polish food (sold out of a grocery store)

Such a great place, 10 out of 10 definitely recommend. Aside from the delicious food and great staff, this has to be the cleanest restaurant I have ever been to in my 42 yrs of life. I say that with my whole chest and dare anyone to tell me different. Not a single speck of dust anywhere not even on the air vents - that alone is a challenge given we live in the Arizona desert. Completely blown away and can't wait to go back.

Not only the best Polish restaurant in Tucson, but easily THE best restaurant in Tucson. Food was amazing, the service was stellar (Aunna was a spectacular waitress and had us laughing the entire meal AND she went above and beyond and hooked us up with some onions for our pierogi) and the atmosphere was something out of this world. Every time I come down from Phoenix to visit town, Polish Cottage is always a must.

Honestly one of my top 5 restaurant experiences ever. Aunna was an absolutely wonderful waitress and went above and beyond to get us our onions. Do yourself a favor and get the pierogis, you'll thank me later
