My first experience at Portillo’s and unfortunately very sad because the food was not good for me I had the Italian beef sub and it was plain just the meet with the bread ( no fresh bread ) I got charge for the jalapeños , everything is paid separately, the only good thing was the chocolate cake . The Italian sub is very pricey to me , just for an small piece of bread and some pieces of meet almost $9 I guess we paid for the nice location because the restaurant inside is pretty and nice atmosphere . If the food was good I won’t mind to pay any price for it .

Portillos has come to Tucson! I had never been, but relatives back in Chicagoland swear by it! After trying it out today, I must agree! Got the Italian Beef with sweet peppers, and small fries. Yumm! I will go again!

I always love going here. The atmosphere is great ad the consistently good. I tried the Italian beef on a crescent roll and really enjoyed it. Staff was friendly and attentive.

This place is one of the best things to have happened on the East side of Tucson in a while. I make it a regular stop on my “New” way home from work.I have loved everything I have tried so far. My only complaint is the fries are way over salted! “Still love it and will keep coming back”!♥️ 😎🤘
