Honestly, it was busy and the staff still made the time for you like you were priority. Definitely happy with the service, we ordered a ton of fried food to snack (sampler platter is pretty big, we shared) and it was all decent, had a few beers, people watched a bit. Good time!

Not the best service but it’s a great college bar and the atmosphere is fun! Pretty easy on the funds as well. Go check it out.

Went last week and food was good. This week we had the fried fish on Friday and the fish was overcooked and dry, Cole slaw was warm and French fries were limp. The waitress should have noticed. She was also slow to return to table to see how our meal was. When we spoke up she said she was sorry. We could see the cooks from our table who were mainly on their phones. I am very disappointed since we have been coming to Putneys weekly for 6 months. Will have to find a new place or speak up sooner although that has other ramifications.

Let me start by saying that this is a great place to eat and drink. I've reviewed it before at 4 and 5 stars and having been dropping by for lunch for 6+ years.I've only eaten and recommended the Au Jus sandwich. It was the first thing I ordered and since has been the ONLY thing I ordered. It was a brisket, cheese and carmelized onion sandwich with au jus sauce. On a hard/soda roll.Last time I came in the sandwich was served on a soft hoagie. Didn't like it, but it wasn't the worst. I figured they ran out of the usual rolls. Last week I dropped by again and ordered the usual... same soft roll. It's been changed. And I'm not a fan. It's a good sandwich. But it's not the same. I'm only putting 2 stars to voice my displeasure. The staff is still top tier. The atmosphere is still solid. The food is still good. (I ate the au jus on the soft roll like a petulant child, but it's still a great sandwich.)Why the change? No idea. Is it better? No. Is it worse? Not at all.Am I going back? Yes. I'll just have to try a new lunch item.

Horrible! For the Super Bowl, a server from their staff sat down after their shift to eat and drink. They got so drunk and rowdy they were screaming profanity in English and Spanish. and the worst kind of profanity. It was so disrespectful and unprofessional. And the other staff did nothing about it! So many customers were getting uncomfortable. I can't believe they let their staff act this way.

Food and service was good, however the atmosphere was eh, messy and two drunks cursing up a storm, very uncomfortable.

Out of town. Yelped the closest place to my stay. Hidden Gem. Great atmosphere, Great local clientele. Staff is wonderful and on point. Food is on point also. Pretty good selection on a short sided sports bar menu. Very impressed. Definitely be back. Kudos to ya'll! Keep it up Ladies and Gents! Breathe of fresh air in the shit show world.

Busy on a rainy Friday night. I had low expectations going in. Sat alone at the bar and ended up with the meatloaf plate, mashed potatoes, salad, and a water. Ended up being the best meatloaf I've had in Tucson, and it makes me curious to try their other food. The mashed potatoes were from scratch (you can tell by the lumps), and the gravy was tasty. They even accommodated my picky order (no tomatoes or cucumbers on the salad, and no ketchup on the meatloaf). The ketchup was served on the side and ended being a bbq sauce. Nice touch. Crowd seemed cool. This place has been here a really long time, so they must be doing something right (I think it was a Famous Sams before). Warrants a trip to Casas Adobes.
