I showed up for lunch at 11:30 on a Thursday. The doors were locked. No hours posted and no explanation as to why it was closed. The TV was on inside but no employees were visible. I do not recommend making a trip to this restaurant without verifying in advance that they are open. No a good indicator of how the business is managed.

This was my first time at Ranch Rodeo, which we told the cashier/server when we placed our order at the counter. A friend recommended the restaurant.Although the food and the salsa bar were really, really great, the service was extremely poor. After the server took our order at the counter, she failed to deliver our drinks. While we were waiting, a customer walked in and out after 5 minutes of waiting and no contact by restaurant staff. On three occasions, I needed our server for cheese for my tacos, drink refills, and to go cups. I had to go to the kitchen entryway where she was doing prep work in the back to make known my needs.Although they have plastic cups and lids, they aren't for "to go cups" unless you want to pay a ridiculous price. Suffice to say this is not a great restaurant for customer service, nor a return visit in the immediate future.

I heard a lot of good things about this place so we decided to try the place . We order three birra burritos and one carde asada burrito. We got home think that it was going down then we find out all the burritos we carne assada I call just to let them know they mess up my order the lay was so rude and didt care that they messed up my order and literally hung up on me .
Not impressed. It wasn’t bad. But not good either. It was just eh. Which means it’s way too expensive. Spent $42 on 1 combo, 2 drinks and 3 tacos. Wayyy overpriced for the quality. Mexican food is supposed to be pretty cheap. If it was going to cost this much, it should’ve tasted like some really good home cooking. But it was eh. Filling but not something I’d want again. Won’t be going back. Next time I want to buy some Mexican food nearby, I’ll go to the food truck on Golf Links and Harrison. It’s cheaper and tastes better. This tastes like it was marketed more towards Americans, like they were being careful not to have any strong flavors. If you’re Mexican, trust me, your mom makes better food. Lol On top of that, the only lady handling customers wasn’t the most welcoming. Like it was an inconvenience that we were there.

The Sonoran dogs made me want to cry - they were all wrong! Wrong bun, no beans, no mayo, no guac, and it had mustard on it!! Absurd. It was like whoever created it had never had one before in their life. If the reinvention had been tasty, then maybe, but it was a solid miss! Very disappointed. Beautifully decorated, nice ambiance and music, hence the 2 stars but that is not enough to make me want to go back.

Visited Twice now. Carne tacos and Carne plate was delicious both times. Staff is very friendly. Service was great. Salsa bar is an extra bonus with grilled peppers and onions. Fresh veggies to dress tacos with. I'm hooked.
