I have one major regret from my trip to Tucson, and it involves a certain egg and cheese biscuit from Raptor Canyon Cafe. I’m disappointed, but only because this breakfast sandwich was dangerously close to perfect—crispy edges, fluffy biscuit, just the right amount of cheesy goodness—and now I have to go home without it. This is easily one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had, and I’ve sampled plenty during six years of brunch hunting in Manhattan!
The home fries? Don’t even get me started. Perfectly crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, with peppers and onions cooked to that sweet spot where they’re caramelized and bursting with flavor. And the hospitality? Just as warm and comforting as the food—everyone working there made us feel like we were right at home.
I’m writing this review as a reminder to myself: if I ever find my way back to Tucson, this is my first stop.

OMG! This place is amazing. Our first time and won't be our last. Portions are generous. Price is a good value. Biscuits and Gravey is delicious. Toasted banana bread is just as you would expect from grandma. Mac-n-Cheese with bacon cheeseburger is amazing. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The pumpkin snickerdoodle cookies were awesome as well. We were very happy with our experience and wish we had this in Houston where we are from.

Food was a 5 out of 10. What I didn't appreciate was pricing being about twice as high as listed online.

As you walk in you immediately get that familiar cozy Tucson drab ambience. Random pieces of desert art serving as decor, outside patio has space heaters and a lovely view of parked cars lining a small back street downtown.
The table is stocked with random hot sauces, ketchup, and jelly. Each settings gets their own succulent or plant which is a nice touch. The table’s finish is well worn, hopefully from many regulars frequenting the place.
You order at the counter…it is a cafe! The menu splayed out on several whiteboards. For breakfast you can choose between your classic breakfast sandwich with a choice of meat and eggs on freshly baked biscuits, kaiser rolls or baguette, you can even get whole grain toast if you wish.
You have your basics, omelette with addins, a breakfast platter, avocado or guac toast, biscuits and gravy, and for a southwest flare you got your burritos, quesadilla and breakfast tacos.
No fancy coffees here, you have your standard drip and soft drinks. There is a smattering of baked goods and a pork roll (I wasn't brave enough to try this time). You can also help yourself to some cucumber lime water. I ordered a chorizo omelette with green chilies and cheese, topped with avocado and pico, served with a side of home fries, ranch and a biscuit.
The omelette was a touch too salty from the hearty chorizo portion, but the pico and avocado balanced it out. The home fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The ranch would make a Midwesterner weep tears of joys. The biscuit wasn't super light, but clearly fresh baked. The staff is super friendly and charming, they did forget my coffee, but gave me two free chocolate chip cookies! Overall a very pleasant experience.

Great food, great service. Great place to get a little work done away from the office. Had the chorizo breakfast tacos. Huge portions and full of flavor and texture. Homemade salsa is excellent! Definitely recommend.

We were visiting from out of town and I brought my dog who has anxiety. He was panicking and instead of being upset, the staff was very friendly and took care of my furry friend. They gave him a little piece of bacon and iced water and he called right down. Service was fast. I give five stars because I had good, dog-friendly service. Love it. ?

Stopped in for breakfast. The biscuits and gravy are outstanding, They need to add a two biscuit option. Everyone in the party was happy with their selection. Breakfast taco, breakfast burrito, and even a cheesesteak and fries
