I really enjoy eating at this restaurant. The food is always hot and freshly prepared and the wait staff is extremely nice. Their homemade salsa is very good; get it with the huevos rancheros.
They excel at omelettes and pancakes. I enjoy their chicken fried chicken with white gravy for breakfast.

We live in Tucson but go to 3 points often so we wanted to stop in and try this restaurant as our kids love to check out the planes. The food was okay but the chicken sandwich was pretty dry. I did get it without the sauce but I added bbq sauce. Unfortunately it was the chicken that was dry, not due to lack of sauce. The floors were so incredibly sticky we had to practically peel our shoes off with every step. Even my 9 year old son mentioned it. The ac only worked in half the restaurant so we were limited to where we could sit. Under the tables were napkins so the tables didn’t rock back and forth and trash before we even sat down. There was spider webs and dust on the booths near our heads . This place needs a good deep cleaning.

Ritchies Cafe reminds me of the TV show Alice, at Mels Diner. It is a breakfast and lunch nook that is a hidden gem.
On West Ajo right at Ryans Field Airport.
Small, cozy, really good food, good service, frequented by seniors, bikers, airplane enthusiasts, businessmen, car buffs, tradesmen, men, woman and child friendly locatoin.
GREAT view of Ryan Field Airport out the back window. We often have meetings there.
Ritchie himself is a former biker, former creative car nut, who has a huge welcoming smile and does much of the cooking.
I visit at least once a week

Very good food and nice waitress
Decent food, friendly staff and a nice view of the tarmac where small aircraft can park.
The service and atmosphere here are great. The food was hit or miss. Omelet was good but the pork chops were dry and the mashed potatoes had an off consistency. It was cool seeing the planes taxi and get refueled while we were eating.
A nice out of the way diner at the small airport. Service started out slow, it was like the two gals working were not sure who was going to serve us. Once they figured that out things went smoothly from there. The eggs were cooked perfect on my wife's plate but mine were requested medium and received hard. Hash browns were nice and crispy though! Not a terrible breakfast but definitely not the best.
Great fly in cafe. Super friendly staff.
