Due to geography Roberts is not an establishment that l normally frequent with any great sense of regularity.I recently found myself nearby and decide to partake in breakfast.Noticable changes immediately. Prior the place was always packed, when l arrived it was practically deserted, l thought l was fortunate and had hit a low traffic point, actually people vote with their feet and obviously have stopped coming. I sat at the counter and made contact will Jill. I ordered the chicken fried steak, over easy eggs and hash browns with ice water. Jill provided excellent service and l encountered zero issues with her efforts.Sadly my food looked beyond terrible upon arrival. I had zero issues with my eggs and the accompanying potatoes. I actually tried eating the chicken fried steak, but it was excessively tough, and extremely chewy. I never could tell if it actually contained any meat product inside the thick rock hard coating of breading. It simply wasn't even worth considering eating. My observations immediately lead me to ask Jill if the place had recently sold, to which she responded "yes back in January". I encountered great difficulty trying to comprehend how a place could sink so fast, apparently the sale has taken it's toll.Additionally it was impossible to not notice Jill scream everytime she touched the coffee pot since it was having some sort of electrical issues resulting in her getting zapped with each passing visit. My CFS was really disgusting, both in flavor and texture. It was equally visually insulting and IMHO never should have been served.I'd rather keep my memories of better days long gone then subject myself to this sinking ship. I will not be returning to Roberts ever again. No one with any ounce of pride could happily serve what was pawned off as acceptable.Jill pleasantly acknowledged my lack of appreciation over the food, adjusted my bill without attitude and that was that.*****NOT RECOMMENDING*****Parking: Abundant on-site parking is available.
Not my favorite place. I'm sure this is just a preference, but I wasn't impressed. That's okay, because not everywhere is for everybody. Sorry I can't give you a better review, but it was a bit underwhelming for me.

Have been here in the past and was a much better experience. Hopefully, this was an off day. Took a while to be seated and then seemed like forever to be acknowledged (with menu, silverware, water, anything). Finally, after stopping the waitress, we got the above but another 20 minutes before orders were taken. I'm gonna stop before I say things I'll regret. PLEASE just let this be an one time bad experience ?

Love diners but Robert’s falls short. Kitchen got order wrong and the grill-toasted bread picked up off flavors from the grill. Didn’t finish meal and have no plans to return.

Ordered French toast and eggs and bacon. Bacon was never delivered. French toast was pathetic. My companion ordered the chicken fried steak . His eggs came out scrambled he had ordered over easy took 10 mins to get fixed this was with almost no customers. Ordered cherry pie as dessert . Canned filling almost no flavor and borderline burnt crust. Staff attempted to make right but overall experience left me wondering why go here .

Good use to be good at one time now it’s sucks I had ordered biscuit and gravy and the gravy was nasty ? it was cold and watery not thick it tasted like milk and flour new owner needs to go back to old recipes or there going out of business if they keep serving nasty

Omelette was very great and skimpy with burnt bacon crumbles inside. BLT was very basic, dry generic bread, cold bacon, and served with no mayo or dressing, hmmm. Fries were good. Rueben was fair, but no dressing. Service was fair. Owner/manager tried to supervise as her moved around a lot but needs a to speak with the tables more to prevent this from happening or watch the pass window to prevent poor quality from going out.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!! EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT....!!! WE COME BACK FOR SURE!!!
