Cake was a regular Safeway Cake, nothing special. I wanted to review the service more.

I got a call three days before my cake was to be picked up to let me know their system wasn’t working and they couldn’t download/pull up the decoration I wanted. I asked if they could do a photo instead, and initially they said yes but then was told “eh maybe, let’s see” later on a different phone call.

I showed up 5 min before my cake was to be picked up (8 am) while three employees were at the front. Two made eye contact with me (taller male, younger female), the closest one to me was on her phone the whole time (older lady). None helped me. The older lady eventually put her phone away but then started decorating cakes without washing her hands. I had to finally get their attention.

30 minutes later, another lady came out and said, “Yeah I haven’t done it, you told me 8 sooo… it’s on you.”

I don’t mind waiting 25 min after the scheduled time, but this staff was unacceptable. I finally got my cake after waiting more than 40 min.

They are wrapping the pay machines in plastic thinking that is safe. Everyone still touching same plastic wrap. Why not just clean the machines after each use?

I slipped on a water spill, which was covered with a floor mat, and now over a year later, I'm stuck with medical bills because safeways insurance adjuster doesn't want to settle on a fair amount to cover my bills - which they requested I have. I still have pain and swelling occasionally on the affected knee and all I want is a fair settlement to cover my expenses. they don't care about their customers or their safety

Yesterday I came in to pick up a cake I had ordered for a friend's babyshower. I ordered a few days in advance and watched as the lady working wrote down my order. I asked for a white cake with Limon filling. I told her it was for a boy babyshower. I picked out a woodland animal themed image for the top. When I went to pick the cake up (an hour before the shower started) I noticed pink frosting on the cake. I was in a super big hurry and didn't have time for it to be fixe

Today doing my senior day shopping savings, did not have time to stand in the store and check the register receipt. After getting home I noticed that I was not given my 10 % savings for senior day. I called the store speaking to a person at the costumer service desk. Explained what had happened, lady's reply was "alot of people don't want their 10% savings or a card. I found this statement to be very strange. I was told as before this was not the first time, I need to mention I am a senior. I feel perhaps this problem could be resolved by having it on my safeway card. I am not a happy shopper, guess next time, I'll just hold up the line and have the cashier check everything.

Becareful when speaking with the employees, some could care less and the attitudes proves it however the Pharmacy employees are excellent and helpful.
