Sophia and Josh did an amazing job on our beach theme cake! They are amazingly talented at decorating, efficient, and there was so much attention to detail! Not to mention that it tasted just as amazing as it looked!

I stopped in to stock up on supply's Because All the Truckers in the USA are going on strike on Nov 29th 2020. I am now stocking up on supplies for 90 days. So everyone should do a 90 day supply of food and water and all other stuff. The place was clean inside and outside of the store. I also used the men's bathroom and it was clean and had hand soap and paper towels. Also the place was clean inside and outside. I went outside to the table and chairs. You will need to bring your own Disinfecting wipes to clean the tables and chairs.

Very disappointed. I ordered a white cake from the bakery that was supposed to have raspberry filling and when we cut into it that evening, no filling at all and hardly any frosting. Left a message for the manager and still waiting to hear back. This was for a special occasion and I could have just purchased any old cake off the floor and it would have been the same. Very disappointed of lack of response/caring.

My wife sent me to the bakery at Safeway (10380 E. Broadway), to purchase some butter crème frosting for a coconut cake she was making for Easter. While standing at the counter, I admired the excellent cake decorating in the cabinet. I asked the girl (Sierra),who did the decorating. She said she was the one who decorated them. Although I wasn't there to purchase a cake, I can assure you that the next time I purchase a decorated cake for an occasion, it will be from the Safeway bakery at Houghton/Broadway, so long as Sierra is working in the bakery! The girl has mad skills!

One of the best, cleanest, well organized stores ever. The variety is wonderful. Very well stocked. I had excellent customer service from Mike at the customer service area February 28th. You were sold out of phone cords but Mike had one behind the counter. It was so nice that he took that extra step.

Do not recommend buying flowers. I bought roses for someone in hospital & they wilted by morning. I'm very disappointed and won't be purchasing there anymore. complete waste of money.

I love the people who work here, but there is always a line. Management needs to hire more cashiers.
Good location. One of the classier, better stores. Has a pharmacy, floral department, deli, bakery, customer service desk with Western Union & other services. Don't like that Safeway leaves bagels out in the open with no cover, but that is the practice with all Safeway's. This location has an in store Starbucks with seating area. This location doesn't seem to ever get too busy, for the store and for Starbucks. Download the Safeway app and you will get special coupons if you connect it to your email. Coupons for discounts on Starbucks will even come, who wouldn't like that, like $3 Grande Frappucinos and other great deals, again, only from app linked to your email. Great clearance sections too. Employees are o.k. No complaints, but no over the top service either, except for the lady in deli, there were no cold chicken wings put out, so she took the time to volunteer to box some up for me and gave me the choice of which type I wanted, a nice touch on an otherwise mediocre grocery store expierence. There is also a U.S. Postal Station located outside the store, in the parking lot. Pretty convienant.
This place was closed for a couple months. Didn't realize how much I missed it until it was another chain. It was way different including the people. Wasn't the same ... Until that chain went under and Safeway came back. Wish it was many of the prior employees with which I built a friendship with. I'm so happy it's back, they are close and convenient. Didn't realize how much I missed it until they were gone. Welcome back Safeway ... Love u guys!
