Sakura Teppan Steak & Sushi

The guy preparing our meals was awesome. Really funny and family friendly environment. None of the employees seemed down to work there. Everyone was so friendly and the food was amazing. Thought it was gonna be bland, but no. Its was delicious! Like as if they made it with love. Can't wait to go back. I want a second try at catching the shrimp when they chuck it at u. It was awesome. It brings, having dinner with the family to a whole new level.

I brought my wife and my two children to come and have a great time and have some Asian cuisine. I was blessed enough to have the cook by the name of Isaiah. Who was More than amazing. Our waitress grace was fantastic. Very highly recommended

Food was good. Chef was great! But the building inside is so dirty. Floor is oily. The walls are oily. Chairs oily. Dirty high chair. I would not come back due to the filthiness.

So, went with a bunch of folks and we had fun, but it was really noisy and the food was more about the grill presentation than the chef's expertise. We had been once before and sat by the sushi counter and there were not many people in there. We had a great time and they do a nice job on sushi. The service was spot on, but the Yakitori was so dry as to not be edible. They should have that down by now. LOL

My family came in on a Sunday and it was very empty. Our cook and show were good, but afterward it was very quiet and awkward. As we were eating our food, the employees were sitting around at empty chairs and it felt like we were being watched, since we were the only ones left. The hibachi steak and shrimp were good, but we were not a fan of the sushi. We ordered the climax sushi, and it was basically filled just with cream cheese inside.

Way overpriced, dirty slippery floors. Drinks had extra, well we'll say EXTRA INGREDIENTS floating around. Food actually had me in restroom shortly after we left. Would not recommend . They will charge gratuity for guest tha didn't eat they just had a drink. Will NEVER go back.

Overall - VERY GOOD! Restaurant has great foundation with awesome food but with things that can be improved upon. (Also I was only on the sushi side so I can't say anything about the Teppanyaki side even though I heard positive commotion!)

Little things to improve - Lighting and atmosphere can be improved a bit with a more even temp as some spots are hotter and colder than others. Too many different menus that have some organization, but I think it could definitely be done better with everything being compacted into one menu with different subcategories. There are some rolls that are very similar to each other that should be maybe classified into certain groups of similarity in case someone wants different rolls of variety or all rolls to be the same. (All of them tasted great though.) Server was nice, and provided good service. Pricing is a little more expensive than I want it to be but the quality of food is in the same boat as the price. Last thing is presentation for 2 of my rolls. Nice and standard! Nothing wrong but they looked the same. It would be cool to see all the rolls have something that only that 1 roll has for it to be itself. But that is just my perception.

Things I LOVED - Taste! Anyone fans of masago? (Small fish eggs) me and my mom are a little crazy for them and they definitely deliver! Great amount for the rolls that have them and the quality of the food again is awesome! Some foods show the quality of the ingredients and their taste balances nicely! Wasn't crowded but still welcomed to sit right away and was eager for us to dine. Great attitude and staff. Now the star of the show - The Sunrise Roll. Holy cow I don't know if the chef like us or something but damn that roll was NICE. Excellent presentation and very satisfying colors of the fish and nice pleasant sauce on the bottom! Anyone who likes sashimi but wants sushi would LOVE this roll! Nice mellow spring onions with nicely layered fish on top of the sushi and was truly worth more than it's price. And it looked like it was made with lots of love behind it more than the others! Appetizers were great and I recommend them too! (Had the squid salad and it is better than other places that I have had.)

Overall... GREAT dining experience that I highly recommend! Obviously some improvements can and maybe should be made but, that's with every restaurant! Definitely not an everyday spending type of restaurant and is a once on occasion type, but you are going to remember those occasions! Great food and taste and slightly higher than my optimal spending prices match the quality of the food! Please don't let any of my small critiques discourage you from this fine restaurant as it is great and you should judge it for yourself! 😉 Overall highly recommend!

I love Sakura. It's so fun. We got there kind of late. They were getting ready for closing. We just sat at a booth so they didn't have to put in the whole teppenyaki display. The server and the chef were very sweet and accommodating. The food was good as always.

Celebrated an anniversary with my wife here recently and what an excellent decision! We've done hibachi at many places and thought we had seen it all, but our chef pulled out some tricks during our meal that we'd never seen before. The food was great, the price was reasonable, and everyone we interacted with during our visit was wonderful. Highly recommend for special occasions or any time.
