I’ll start by saying we love the sushi and lettuce wraps here. We come quite often and usually are the only ones there. However sometimes we aren’t always able to go inside and dine and we wanted to call our order in for pickup. The girl was kinda short and just started I’m sorry we don’t allow anyone to order food to go over the phone you have to come in and order it. I’ve never heard of such a thing. I can’t get my food to go? What if I give you my card info and pay now? Still no. I have to drive down and sit there and wait while they make my food instead of calling ahead? Makes no sense especially since I was wiling to pay ahead…. Unfortunately for them, they’ve lost a frequent customer due to strange policies.

No to go order
We went to Sakura's on 25 March, MALU was our server. She was fantastic and the grill master which I didn't get his name put on a fantastic show! We were there for my mom's 99th birthday and they sure made it special. My brother and sister-in-law who attended had never gone to this restaurant, they were pleasantly surprised. We all enjoyed what we ordered but the show was the highlight of the evening. I can't tell you how everybody thoroughly enjoyed their evening and it really made my mom's 99th birthday. Thank you MALU and the grow master, five stars!

This place is very lively, and busy. If you’re planning for. Hibachi, I recommend calling ahead and making a reservation. The food is like any other hibachi place. The portions are generous. We loved our hibachi experience
Dietary restrictions: They do not care much. We were served a soup, but the server didn’t mention what’s in it

My daughter and her fiance took me for my birthday dinner...I loved the experience! The food was excellent, as well as the leftovers that sustained me for the next couple of days. The gentleman who grilled our dinner was thoroughly entertaining. I am just waiting for the chance to go back.

Service was great! Very attentive and overall good service.
Food was okay. Basic Teppan meal. No noodles or yum yum sauce. They don’t give the 2 free shrimp. And at those prices they could at least give the fried rice at no additional charge and noodles. Not enough food for those price points. Half a chicken breast. A scoop of rice. Scoop of veggies and half a portion of steak for $40+ is not ideal.
Probably won’t return anytime soon

Went for a late lunch. Around 245. Service was extremely slow. Employees all on their phones. Ordered the calamari. Sent it back. Tasted like perfume. Waitress was rude. Ordered two sushi rolls. Ate half. Won’t go there again.

Restaurantji Recommends
Food was too salty also for hibachi they sit you next to other party's so you basically share your food? We ordered fillet steak and shrimp the party in front of us, ordered tearyaki chicken and butter chicken. The chicken entree is 25, and the fillet was 80. For some reason, the cook felt the need to give half our shrimp and steak to him. He looked very confused, and he had a very outrageous amount of food on his plate. He paid 25. I paid almost 100 dollars for me to feed a stranger, I guess. I will not come back here ridiculous place.

Review of only the lunch and happy hour menus. Very underwhelmed by this place. First, the restaurant is kind of run down and sloppy looking inside. One of my pet peeves is leaving a restaurant smelling of fried food and that was the case here-they need a much better exhaust system!
Now, the food. Also underwhelming, and some of it is overpriced. The tempura (part of a bento) and fried sushi roll were mushy and oily; the oil needs to be hotter. Roll sizes are generous but more expensive than comparable rolls at other sushi places. The "happy hour" food prices are very good-see pic of bento. Salmon and tuna nigiri did not taste the freshest.

My wife and I have been coming here for 8 years and I myself for at least 10+ years, I love the people here! Manny the sushi chef at the sushi bar is a MASTER! he makes the best sushi rolls in town! We recommend asking for him personally to make yours. The baked California roll is to die for and the sake bomb mix goes so well with the sushi yumm! You can sit at the bar or tables for a quick lunch at happy hour or bring the whole family and be amazed by the teppanyaki masters they are fun and make the experience one to remember. Highly recommend this place for everyone!!
