I've been a regular at this spot for quite some time. It's your classic teppanyaki joint, but man, it's just top-notch. The place can get packed, but trust me, it's worth the wait. Their drinks? Fantastic. The sushi? Super fresh and tasty. And the teppanyaki? It's on point every single time. The service is stellar, too. We keep coming back because it's one of the few spots around that nails the combo of awesome eats and a bit of a show. It's just a great vibe all around.

We went here for my grandson's ninth birthday. It was fun, it was entertaining, the food was delicious. They were busy, the service was good. The chef made the table feel very special. The wait staff was very accommodating with the birthday cake and any additional stuff that we needed. I would do this again.

We had a celebration for my mom's 70th birthday. It was great. The cooks were very entertaining and fantastic at what they do. The servers were friendly and on top of everything. We had a party of 25 and everyone left satisfied.

The place was empty at 9:30 on a Saturday which usually isn't a good sign but once we got sat down at the table that all changed the atmosphere is classic and comfortable. The waitress was excellent. The food was cooked perfectly I got teriyaki chicken which came with a soup and salad. My fiancee and friend got sushi and it was perfectly fresh.

So I went into this place seen there was no one at the front desk. So I casually sat down and waited for someone to come to seat me. I asked was the sushi chef (after waiting 10 minutes)was it reservation only on Sunday. He said no. I continued to wait. 26 minutes has passed and still no one came back to the front desk to seat me. I left and I will not be coming back. Poor first impression!

I can't say anything bad about this place. Great customer service, Food and atmosphere. I have eaten in here several times over the years but this visit was probably the best. We celebrated my friends daughter birthday and the staff helped out with a drum and song along with bringing out the cake we gave them earlier. The cook also made a birthday volcano that we sang to lol. Our entire group can sit around a large table and converse with each other while the cook David did a fantastic show. The food was very tasty and the atmosphere is very kool. They have a bar in the back of the restaraunt with outdoor patio seating and entertainment too. Restrooms are very clean which says alot about the place. The food is pricy but its cooked very well with a little show while its being cooked. We will definitely come back again. They have sushi also and a large variety of foods cooked exactly the way you asked for.Parking: free large lot

People were having a ball at the chef's tables in here. The nigiri was terrific. I wish I would have ordered more. Spicy tuna roll left me a little disappointed with texture and flavor. Would recommend this place for a birthday or party though.

BAD SUSHI. We were served expired raw scallops. I ran to the bathroom and puked right after. My husband has been very sick all night long and now we are off to the ER. When I told them they were bad the waitress didn’t even tell the sushi chef and just tossed them.

But their prices have gone up a lot - too high for what Sakura still is... I'm afraid they are pricing a lot of local folks out, which is a shame since it's been a community gathering space for a long time. Hoping they allow the pricing to rest for a bit and stop raising for at least a couple years to catch up.
