Salsa Verde Restaurant

We are in Tucson from Illinois and were looking for an authentic Mexican meal. WOW did we find an awesome, casual place!! I had a passion fruit Margarita and my hubby had a strawberry. Both were delish!! We shared the sample platter which was really good with Birrias, quesadillas, nachos and chimis. My husband ordered the big steak burrito. He said the flavor was outstanding. I had the 2 steak tacos plate which was also very good. Our server, Evelyn, was awesome and super attentive and helpful!! We will definitely go back before we go home!!

Food was beyond delicious. The owner made a special effort to make sure i was satisfied. Next time I will just ask for his meal suggestion. Best Mexican meal I've had in Tucson and maybe in the entire south west.

Love the interior remodel…table side service now which is very nice. Excellent food…Get the bacon wrapped supremo burrito and end with the Tres Leches cake…sooooo good!

Wonderful food, wonderful presentation...awesome homemade mole. It is a hidden gem. This is a small restaurant, no pretense, just great authentic Mexican food. Try it.

Service was awesome, food that makes your taste buds water for more, drinks that are ice cold and good music. While I appreciate the visual menus on the T.V’s maybe one T.V. Could watch something authentic, maybe even tour of Mexico on YouTube.
Still one of my favorite places since they opened.

One of the worst burritos I've ever eaten - food lacked seasoning and tasted stale. How a place does Mexican food this bad in Tucson is beyond me.

Drove by this place a million times never stopped till today. Had some of the best Mexican food I've ever had having live in Tucson my whole life says something. Great prices for a lot of food. Will be coming back.
