Awesome, Amazing, Atmosphere, With Great Food And Great Positive Energy!
Very disappointed with our recent visit on 6/22. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived , with maybe two other tables with guests. We were sat at a very small table, that was sticky feeling , and with a chair that was wobbly and almost unsafe. After probably 10 minutes, I asked if we could get menus, water etc. A server did come over with water and menus. We ordered our drinks, a salad , an appetizer and a pizza. After drinks arrived , the wine glass literally stuck to the table. At that point my husband and I moved to another table and alerted our server. The salad arrived on what can only be described as a plate the size of a saucer. Then the pizza arrived. And then about 10 minutes later our appetizer arrived.
The food was disappointing… everything smothered in soooo much cheese with very little taste of anything else.
To add the final insult , the bill arrived and they “automatically “ added a surcharge for paying with a credit card .. surely a sign of a restaurant that is drowning.
This used to be a really lovely restaurant, with great atmosphere and great food.
If there was a 4.5 for the food out, I’ve done it. The pizza is very good sometimes but this time they didn’t get their brick hot enough in time before they quoted, but usually solid racy.
This restaurant is no longer what it once was, its a HUGE letdown. The food was below average at best, and the entire dining experience was overshadowed by the chaos coming from the kitchen. We could clearly hear the kitchen staff shouting profanities and yelling at our poor server throughout the restaurant. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. Despite all that, our server handled it with grace and kindness, and I truly appreciate their effort under such stressful circumstances.
The overall cleanliness was just as disappointing. The tables were sticky with gunk, and it looked like the place hadn’t been dusted or properly cleaned in ages. It’s hard not to notice the decline in standards, and honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they shut their doors soon if things don’t change.
We didn’t even order appetizers or dessert, just two entrées and water 😭 and the bill came out to nearly $50. For that price, I could’ve had a better meal and atmosphere at Olive Garden with unlimited bread sticks.
To make matters worse, some other reviews mentioned overhearing kitchen staff talking about rats. After what I experienced, I can completely believe it. Between the noise, the profanity, and the cleanliness issues, I’m seriously considering reporting this place to the health department. Definitely not coming back, save your money and go somewhere else.
Excellent
took to long and pizza was greasy and just tasted bad my salad didn’t taste right like if they didn’t wash the veggies

Ordered pizzas for pick up at 6:45 then got a text at 6:05 that they were ready; called worried the pizzas were going to be lukewarm for the party I was taking them to- called was reassured that it was a system error: same story when I picked them up at 6:45. They lied. Pizzas went uneaten. Hate the tipping when you pre-pay and get zero service.

We ordered Scordatos online for my husband's 78th birthday today. My daughter went to pick it up after a long days work. We ordered one chicken and one eggplant parmegian, the former being our only source of protein for 5 people.
We had two salads and two pizzas with a few shrimp and other veggies. My daughter was looking forward to serving some chicken to her five year old son.
The order came with two eggplant parmegians and no chicken. My daughter called for a rebate on her bill as the chicken was more expensive than the eggplant. They did not believe her and would not credit her credit card for their mistake.
Instead, they said for her to come back and get a chicken parmegian and a dessert. She was tired after a long day and we were celebrating my husband's birthday, so she did not go back.
Scordatos just must not need the business, to treat a customer who ordered $126 worth of food in that manner. The food is, indeed, excellent but there's always Uptown Burger, Sauce, Tavelino and Wildflower who would not treat their customers in that way.

Took a while to get someone's attention to get seated but once that happened service was excellent as well as the food. We each had the Bento box lunch, which was delivered quickly and wonderful. We will definitely be back.

Pizza wasn't ANYTHING like Chicago pizza. In fact it was awful.

I had their gluten free lasagna tonight and it was amazing, best I've had anywhere. I'm a Seattle foodie and this place ranks up there with my all-time favorite Italian restaurants. Be sure to try a dish with their home made hot sausage. The pasta is always perfectly done, and they give generous portions which I really appreciate. Good value for money which is a rare thing these days.
Recommended dishes: Pizza and Eggplant Parmesan, Lasagne, Sausage and Onion Pizza
Something is wrong here. After many years of eating here it has gone from the very best pizza and sides to probably the worst pizza we have eaten.
So sad.

We walked in here at 7:45 on a Friday night, expecting the bar area to be full. Instead, there was not one person seated at the bar. We sat at a couple chairs where the air conditioning was not blowing down on us, and the bartender had to clean the counter because somebody had been there previously. She started spraying the disinfectant solution right towards us onto the bar counter. We stood up and moved away because we didn't want to have the overspray in our face! We explained that the overspray was indeed reaching our faces. I'm very sensitive to scents and chemicals, and could taste the stuff in my mouth. I tried to explain to her she could just spray the rag she was using, but that completely went over her head.
We ordered drinks, and while we were starting to enjoy those, I saw someone out of the corner of my eye right next to me. I thought it was another customer coming in to sit down, but it was her again with her spray bottle. She started spraying the counter next to us and we had to cover our drink and water glasses. She told us she wasn't spraying our area, but that part of her job was to clean the counters.
We have never come across anyone so insensitive and clueless about their job. We paid our bill and went up the road to another Italian restaurant to have dinner. Funny thing, we sat at the bar and the guy said let me clean that counter for you and brought out a damp rag to wipe it down. Genius! No spray involved.

One of our favorite restaurants in Tucson due to:
1) The wood-fired custom pizzas! Add or subtract toppings. I love the sausage & cipollini onion pizza + arugula. Their salads are large, so you can add a 1/2 salad. Their garden salad compliments any dish.
2) The tagliatelle + sausage is second-to-none if you want a lot of meat protein. The noodles are cooked perfectly and sauce is great ragu style (bolognese).
3) Huge portion of bruschetta is you order this appetizer… very fresh!
4) The attentive service for larger groups is difficult to find because Scordato’s is well-staffed and not overly busy. CHAD IS THE BEST SERVER IN TUCSON!!! (but he works Mon, Tue, and I forget one other day). Scordato’s is great for an evening where you can have a great meal AND conversation with friends or family. Good date place because you can LISTEN and converse easily with your date. :). If you save room, try a dessert, too.
5) Prices are very reasonable for Italian food. We also love Bottega Michelango on Lambert Ave., but it’s usually very busy and louder inside. The food is excellent at both places, but Scordato’s truly is the Tucson “gem” on West Side not discovered by everyone yet.
