Really like the chicken meatballs w/side salad for lunch. Had eggplant parmesan last time. So good.

Besides the food being consistently delicious, the service we received from Chad deserves 5 + stars. In this day and age it’s unusual to find the kind of service that Chad extended.

Our server can use a bit of polishing in her approach. We are grateful for her attention. We were happy with our meals, especially Ella Fitzgerald playing as we dined.

The first time I went here I really enjoyed it. But when I ordered pizza for takeout it was undercooked. We had to recook the whole thing at home. I'm not sure how someone could accidentally serve a nearly raw pizza.

Four of us ordered two different 13" (large?!?) Pizzas and two salads for dinner. To be fair, their menu clearly recommends eating at the restaurant rather than takeout for taste, texture, and food quality. I was concerned that a 13" pizza wouldn't be large enough, but the size turned out to be more than enough for two people. I wanted my go-to pizza- ham peperoni, and mushroom, but was talked out of that in favor of their 3-meat pizza with mushrooms and veggies. The gals ordered the 3-mushroom pizza with arugula, and creamy cheezes to go with their farro salad with eggplant, zucchini, and roasted red peppers, chicken, and cheese. The guys got the ceaser salad to go with the 3-meat pizza. I was excited, as this place was listed as the 2nd best pizza in Tucson. The ladies liked their pizza, giving it a "B" grade, and except for being way too salty, they gave their warm salad a B+. Us guys, on the other hand, felt the pizza was the worst pizza we had ever eaten. It was excessively greasy, not very meaty, and the crust was not even slightly as advertised. Rather than being crispy outside and a bit chewy on the inside and given the attention of bakery quality bread, the bland chewy crust was sub par in ALL respects. Worse yet, the lunch-meat toppings tasted like they were a few days past their use-by date. And to add insult to injury, despite sparse toppings, the toppings were nearly 2" back from the crust edge, and the below average sauce was also scarce. We ended up throwing out several pieces of pizza. The Cesar salad came with the dressing on the side. Except for the smallish size of the salad, it was OK with a nice noticeable sardine flavor that was a plus. But at more than $70 for the order, we all expected better, much better. Honestly, in retrospect, we would have had more and better pizza and salad from any chain pizzeria for about half the price!

3/15/24. Upon entering the restaurant, the person greeting customers and seating people clearly looked as though he did not want to be there. Lacked major customer service. After sitting we got our water quickly and our waitress (Leslie L.)per the receipt, came to greet us. Ok, no problem. We ordered the calamari. Came out super fast, so you it's frozen. But the aioli dipping sauce did not come with it. After asking her where that aioli sauce was, she said they no longer serve it, but as a courtesy, she will get some for us. Ok, soooo then take this off your menu, if the calamari no longer comes with it. After that occurrence, it went down hill from there. We waited for over 10 minutes for the aioli. Then our food came out and it was terrible. The fettuccine sauce was watered down. It then solidified, like a powder. The tortellini were bland, as well as the lasagna. Terrible. Will not be returning and the service we received throughout was lacking all the qualities a true well running restaurant holds. To top it off, if you are not paying cash, and using your card, there is an additional fee on your bill. Why? This is the first restaurant I have encountered here in Tucson that does that. We're not Vegas people. Never returning and will skip this place in a heartbeat to eat somewhere better.

The food (chicken Parmesan) was fantastic, highly recommend it. The service was a little slow and they kinda stashed us away in the front room where no one else was seated so I think they just kept forgetting us. They were pretty busy though so can't say they just ignored us. The food made up for any feeling of

As a treat for my birthday, I took my SO here seeing as he'd been gracious enough to dote on me over the weekend and I felt I should reciprocate by getting him a nice dinner. We normally get Italian (pizza specifically) from a select few different local places, but have been curious about this place since we live directly across the street from this establishment. After going straight to the website and looking at the menu I thought it would be a nice surprise to take him somewhere we hadn't been after a little walk. Unfortunately, our experience proved to be more punishment than reward. Service was slow despite the lack of other patrons. This normally wouldn't be that much of an issue to us, but our server proceeded to treat us like our being there was a huge inconvenience. As someone who has spent years in the industry, even I was shocked by the amount of passive-aggressive, pointed comments and general demeanor. That being said, the biggest disappointment was the food. After waiting 20ish minutes for one app and another 40ish for two entrees you'd think it reasonable for one to expect properly cooked, warm food. The fried mozzarella was undercooked and incredibly oily to the touch; the batter sagging off and completely unappetizing while the mozzarella was semi-solid. I tried to get the waitress's attention but she completely ignored me until she delivered the mains, by which point we had just pushed the sad pseudo cheese sticks aside. I ordered a salad and requested the cheese be left off due to a dairy allergy. This also was technically meant to be my app since I do not eat meat in addition to said allergy (the MBs had both), but wasn't served until about 5 or so minutes before the entrees (30ish after MBs) and was disappointed to find the request was ignored. The waitress left with it to "have it remade" and returned with the same salad with the cheese haphazardly picked out, small bits still stuck around the sides. Beyond the fact the disrespect, I felt it necessary to mention due to the lack of consideration of the serious consequences that could have resulted from this. I imagine many are aware of what being ALLERGIC means, so I will leave it at that. The mains were not much better... SO's pizza was raw in the center and squishy; however the Alfredo was fine but "underwhelming" according to my SO. After the salad situation I cancelled my minestrone and bruschetta (I didn't feel I would be accommodated correctly) so mine just ceased to exist. Overall, I would not recommend or return unfortunately. If I was to hear you reconsidered your FOH and improved that is also questionable. This all being said, please don't hold my lackluster experience stop you from trying it.
