I ordered delivery from here through Door Dash while on the road. It was great. Food arrived quickly, and main dish arrived hot. I had the pad Thai which was flavorful. Veggies were fresh and chicken and tofu were cooked just right. The mango and rice dessert was delicious! Tasted just like the ones I remember in Thailand!

Best Thai food we’ve eaten in some time. Beautiful presentation, friendly and professional service, and pretty & airy decor. You can feel the attention to detail and taste the commitment to quality. Such a great find! The Kao Op Sapparos (fried rice in a hollowed-out pineapple) was the best fried rice I’ve ever eaten and so creatively presented.

Pretty good for Thai food in Tucson but seemed to be a little over priced for what you get.

Hands down one of the very best Thai restaurants that I've been to in my life (and I've lived in SE Asian and been to Thailand). Great selection of food ranging from your everyday noodles to high end entrees. Service is always on point and the chef comes to the table and says hi and asks if you enjoyed the food (pre-pandemic). This is one of the gems of Tucson and has been my designated spot for family gatherings, celebration for anniversaries and valentines days.

It’s not often we frequent downtown Tucson, but we were excited to try Senae Thai. Parking was $6 flat rate at the nearest lot.Based on other reviews, it sounds like this is supposed to be THE authentic Thai cuisine. Maybe I’m embarrassed to say that my taste buds are accustomed to American-Thai style food?Alas, we shared the taro fries. These were good. Simple appetizer. I had the yellow curry which automatically comes as chicken. Normally, I’m asked what spice level at other restaurants (eg “do you want spicy or THAI spicy?”), however I wasn’t during this encounter. The chicken thigh/leg was cooked very well - loved it. The curry sauce left a little to be desired especially without any spiciness. Flavor was slightly bland. We also had the beef pad Thai. And correct me if I’m wrong, but was not expecting the overpowering fish sauce flavor. Again, accustomed to a much different pad Thai flavor. Wouldn’t recommend unless you like fish sauce.Pricing was a bit steep and so overall, probably won’t be returning anytime soon. 4/5 stars. Thank you.

Wonderful ambiance; fabulous fare! From the calamari to the curries, dinner was divine. Short ribs swimming in sauce was heavenly. Generous portions prepared to perfection.

Coming from south east Asia myself I have to say that this has been the best thai food I have found in Tucson in terms of authentic flavors. Do yourself a favor and stop in to give them a try.

One of the best meals I had during my time in Tucson! I love thai food and this was highly recommended to me and it did not disappoint. I got the Drunken Noodles - the flavors were so good and I loved the stir fried green beans mixed in with the peppers and delicious sauce. I had beef with mine, but I think this would be great with chicken too. Also have to shout out the staff - the owner came by to ask me how my meal was and mentioned several of her waitstaff were working their first day. They did a wonderful job! I didn't have a reservation, but they were able to seat me outside and were great about checking on me to see if I had everything I need. If you like thai and find yourself in Tucson, definitely try this place!

My experience was nothing but positive here. I have a heart for thai food and Sanae Thai Bistro definitely fulfilled my satisfaction with their amazing food and service. I recommend this place 100 times over. Me and my Fiancé will definitely be regulars here in the future. Compliments to the chef! She even stopped by our table to ensure our meal was as it should be. Thank you for the amazing meal and great service!

Great evening outside. The food was delicious! Brussel sprouts, veggie rolls and the calamari appetizers were cooked perfectly. Drunken noodles and curry was a great finale. Dees restaurant is the best Thai food in Arizona, the quality of the fresh veggies and proteins is wonderful. This restaurant is a must, enjoy Senae and then roam around Congress street. It’s the very best of Tucson!!

Amazing food! I had the fried rice with egg and pad thai with tofu! Both were delicious and are large portions! I recommend.

This has got to be the best Thai food I've ever had. My boyfriend and I were in town from Las Vegas, and wanted to give this place a try since it was close to our air bnb downtown. We ordered 4 different dishes and they were all excellent! The red curry w/ sticky rice was my personal favorite. All the flavors in every dish were balanced meticulously. Will definitely be returning to this restaurant anytime I'm in Tuscon.

I recently called to inquire about hours because I wanted to bring in friends moving into town. I have been here a few times and recall the food being mediocre but thought I'd give it another try and thought the atmosphere might be nice. Yelp noted they were closed on a random Thursday so I was very surprised and thought they must just be open for dinner. The person who answered the phone was incredibly rude. Instead of just informing me that they were closed this week he went on to say "if you had listened to the voice message you would know..." in a very annoyed tone that I was even calling. I informed him there was no voice message since he had answered the phone so there was no way I could know. If they are this rude answering the phone I definitely don't want to want to bring friends here and won't be returning anytime in the future.

This is my favorite restaurant anywhere, and I've been to a lot of restaurants. I have major food allergies, have eaten here dozens of times, and have not had an issue once. I can eat anything on the menu, and they will make it work. Everything is delicious and authentic Thai, made at the spice level you want. Chef Dee and her staff are wonderful people and hard working. The space is chic and relaxing with great energy. As for the negative reviews, be mindful that COVID has created challenges for everyone, including Senae, and we need to give each other a little understanding.
